Lamar & filler (caron, grant) for Shaq which netted the HEAT a championship

Lamar played really well during the Lakers championship runs

Caron eventually got us Kwame Brown (more on that later)

at the time, ESPN called this the worst trade of all time

Kwame Brown & Marc Gasol for Pau

Possibly the GOAT trade of all time in context.

Pau played huge for the Lakers during their championship runs

Grizzlies have the best center in the league, DPOY, made the WCF and have been relevant ever since thanks to this trade.. let's be real, if Pau expires the Grizzlies aren't going to lure anybody to Memphis and they would still be awful to this day. The Grizzlies are still eating in 2014 thanks to this trade.

again this trade was mocked at the time

 Lakers sprinkle their generosity everywhere making the league more competitive which is ultimately best for business

GOAT franchise

They almost did it again with the CP3 trade but good ol' Stern had to jump in.
