We need a 3rd point guard badly. Lavine playing smart ball out there though for a rookie.

I wish they'd play Budinger cuz his game simplifies our offense

Aaron Gordon looks like he's figuring things out a bit more, isn't running around like a headless chicken as much and is getting to the right spots on defence tonight.

Fournier has awful hair. Looks like the lesbian cut of that 3/4 from UNLV. Can't remember his name right now. Was on the Suns.

Easily off fournier. Payton was fouled on the earlier play though, I doubt he would have made the free throws though lol.

lol Mo Williams with the game saving block.

As advertised, his play making and the way he runs the offence looks really good. Enough to make me think he will be a special player one day. He doesn't even look to take anything from three though but he has made a few mid range jumpers but he his shot looks broken. He's been driving well but usually gets blocked, needs to learn how to use contact and change his shot to avoid blocks by big men. I'm pretty high on him so far though. He had a really good 16pt 9ast 1turn over game a few games back.

Gordons defence is really impressing me today. I've really been trying to hold off judging him too harshly until he had a season or so under his belt because of how raw he normally looks but he's shooting well, defending well, driving well doing everything pretty well tonight. Hopefully he gets a confidence boost and it's good that Vaughn has left him in, usually he ignores peoples play and just goes on his minutes and match ups.

Take into account the Wolves have no real point guard now

That's true but it's more where Gordons positioning himself that's looked good, in earlier games he kind of ran around aimlessly and looked like he wasn't committing to playing defence on anyone. Plus for him to actually be making his shots is an eye opener. Orlando would have lost this if rubio was in but it shouldn't have changed Gordon's play much.

If Rubio injury is significant I say package mo williams and Kevin Martin for whatever we can get for the future and become a lottery team. Ah, maybe not. No vets then.

4 to 6 weeks probably but we looked pretty bad without him. We have mo williams and Lavine if you even count him as a point guard.

Suppose Williams and Martin aren't really pieces that are taking this team anywhere on their own are they? Martin could be worth something to a competitor, his recent contract is fairly cheap isn't it?

Martin makes around 11 million/season. He's overpaid but hey, maybe he's just warming up. It is just the beginning of the season. Mo Williams is alright as a backup but him being a starter gets us nowhere. Martin can't be our 1st option without Rubio getting him the ball where he needs it. Plain and simple. Honestly a first option is hardly necessary with what Rubio does for us.

Budinger is our best tradable asset right now. We'll probably flip him sometime this season.

How many years does Martin have left though? If he's still got a few years on it 11mil for him would be cheap with the new deals and salary cap coming.

It actually says 7 million in places online. I wouldn't be against trading him to a contender for a pick if they'll part with it. We'll probably lose Thaddeus Young anyway and have cap space to sign a special player next season. Trade him back to the Thunder
