Harden/Howard are better and more efficient than Ibaka/Westbrook.

They're also matchup nightmare for San Antonio and Miami.

Get rid of Westbrook, Perkins and Ibaka to make room for Howard
Westbrook + Ibaka + Perkins > Howard

The Thunder would be left with Howard, Durant and a bunch of scrubs. Plus, why would they give up Westbrook for just Howard? Do you realize just how valuable Russell Westbrook really is? :lol

We're trying to get the clowns out of lockerroom, not add more.

Thats why we traded Harden.

OKC would also keep Harden in my scenario.

What I am trying to say is IF Houston can add Durant.

Why couldn't OKC have Houstons team + Durant?

Morey's grand plan has been Durant to team up with Dwight and Harden.

So plan C after getting Melo or Bosh to team up with Dwight and Harden?

Wasn't there a rumor people floated a couple years ago about a Westbrook-based trade for Dwight when he was trying to force his way out of Orlando?

They likely wouldn't be able to keep Harden, Durant, Ibaka, and Howard, but wow what a line-up that could have been. Probably would have made won a Finals if everybody was healthy.

I think thought that Dwight wasn't too interested in playing in OKC since he was trying to maximize his Adidas deal by being in NY or LA.

A great GM has back up plans...

Which is why Houston is 6-0

I've been saying for years OKC should have traded Westbrook for Howard. Westbrook and Perkins for Howard would have been the GOAT trade.

who cares
Harden
Durant
Ibaka
Howard

would destroy any team in a 7 game series. even when Howard inevitably gets in foul trouble they have two superstars and a great third option on the floor. imagine if they somehow signed patrick beverley instead of the rockets. I could see that team winning 5 championships in a row.

A lineup of

Beverley
Harden
Durant
Ibaka
Howard

Would give up about 65 points per game.
