This dude has heart and was willing his team to win this. Scoring, leading, playmaking, clutch shots, defending, this guy is a great player. No one else could help him, and led to him carrying this team. Phil needs to give this guy some help...

Knicks in general just need more help or at least a bone from the refs, they constantly get doubled up or even worse on fta every single freakin game.............
Tonight
ATL 36 fta
NYK 11 fta
How are the Knicks supposed to win games when the refs spot the other team 25 pts?

Shumpert, and the team running an offense are the bright parts so far. Carmelo and JR will be fine.

Of course they all need more help. Haven't had your pg and best big the whole time, and they're 2-3 pieces away anyway. Doesn't everyone know the Knicks need more? Was that a thread worthy thought if you weren't willing to make any usefull arguments?

Shumpert is slowly becoming a guard. The offense is a 2 guard front, which means if you can't play 1 you can't play the other. Shumpert will make himself so much more money and be so much better if he plays the "pg" position. Even in the triangle

chill out brah :biggums:

All im saying is Shumpert looks like the best player out there and is impacting the game far more than the max contract guy.

I thought the team running the offense was awful tonight actually. They did NOT get Melo the ball in the second half after he torched us in the first half. I just don't think they really have the personel to run the triangle without Calderon and Bargnani.

Shump played well though, there just isn't a lot of talent on this Knicks team right now.

I like Shump and all, but he is what he is. Incapable of creating his own shot on a consistent basis, turnover prone, and clumsy. I think when he reaches his peak he's a decent 3rd option on a contender.

Melo does not look right to me. He was moving so well and shooting great against Charlotte and Cleveland. But ever since the Wiz game his body language is poor, and he is moving around like he is hurt. Across his history his longest slumps are always due to an injury. Whether he needs to get his knee drained or whatever he needs to do it, this knicks team is incapable of carrying him to wins like the Heat and Cavs can do for Lebron.
