How were Houston even in this game? Golden state are the title favorites/best team in the league. Surely they would be losing by 20+ without their franchise superstar center? Apparently not.

Dwight is very overrated. He lacks the scoring ability and finesse that great centers in NBA history have. The only center today that really is truly worthy of the great centers of the past is Demarcus Cousins. He gets rebounds, unlike Marc Gasol. He can hit free throws, unlike Dwight Showers. He can play with his back to the basket down low, unlike Joakim Noah. He can hit the midrange, unlike Andrew Bogut. He can draw fouls, unlike Al Jefferson. Defense coming together as well now? It's a wrap.

Dwight is all flash, no cash.

How was Houston still in the game? Because they're a pretty damn good team. Cousins is the best center in the league right now, but Howard isn't that far behind. At the end of the day, both are great players. Just because Cousins is better doesn't mean you have to hate on Howard.

I'm not ready yet to say Demarcus is better thatn Dwight. Dwight is really, really damn good. Anyone who thinks Dwight wouldn't be a great C in any era of basketball is delusional.
