If they get past Suns and Spurs next 2 games, they should be fine until they play Miami on the 25.

Curry will keep his fine play up, but I see Klay getting locked up.

OP is a retard getting excited at 5-0 :facepalm

you get excited when they at least string 20 wins. you do realize how hard it is to break that record? even Miami fell short and they almost burned out and almost lost a championship trying to break that record.

I would have waited with this thread after the next 2 Spurs/Suns games... Then, yeah... Nice winning streak awaits and they already have one.

But imagine if they now break the record :lol

This is just a pit stop. These guys are still young and they make careless mistakes. The streak will begin again against the Spurs. Mark my words they won't lose after that until they reach #34-0

Warriors fans are turning into the new Knicks fans. This team hasn't done anything for their fans to be this cocky and overconfident. LOL at talking down on the Blazers and Clippers when both teams went further last year. 6 games in and they're already talking about championships smh.

I recall the Heat's run of 27 straight a couple of years ago.

Miami had some incredible come-from-behind wins in that streak, and often eked out wins.

By contrast, in the Lakers' 33 game win streak in '72, they were routinely blowing teams out. They had a +15.6 ppg differential in their streak, and 23 of their 33 wins were by double-digit margins.

That Laker team was the most dominant regular season team of all-time. They just annihilated their opposition that year. They destroyed the defending NBA championand 63-19 Bucks (a Bucks team that was a UNANIMOUS pre-season choice to repeat), 4-1 in their five regular season H2H's, and they dispatched them, 4-2, in the WCF's.

In fact, they wiped the floor with EVERY team they faced. They only had one opponent that won two games against them (4-2 against a 49-33 Phoenix team), and they swept several. Including the post-season, they went 8-2 against the 48-34 Knicks; 4-1 against the 56-26 Celtics; 5-1 against the 51-31 Warriors; 5-1 against the 47-35 Sonics; 7-1 against the 57-25 Bulls; and that 8-3 against the 63-19 Bucks. Included were at least one rout of every team in the league, and in some cases, several. For instance, they beat the Warriors by margins of 129-99 and 162-99. They beat the Bucks by margins of 123-107 (and it was a 20 point lead going into the 4th quarter) and 115-90.

Amazingly, this team started players aged 35, 33, 29, 28, and 23 years old, and yet just obliterated their peers with a devastating fats-break offense. They averaged 121 ppg in an NBA that averaged 110 ppg, and their nearest competitor was at 116 ppg. They had a staggering 19 games of 130+; six of 140+; four of 150+, and that 162-99 romp over the Warriors.

Arguably the greatest team of all-time.

Two records that will never be broken. One is the Lakers 34 straight streak and the other was Lakers playoff run in 2001 11 straight.

Competition ahead for the contingent 16-0 record-breaking start: the Bulls, Nuggets, and Lakers. It's easily attainable; time and those games are little more than a formality, aside from possibly the Bulls on the latter unit of the Warriors' back-to-back games.

Thank you, Clippers; you were the biggest threat to snap this winning streak by far, but the fourth quarter always lends a dramatic makeover to your identity.
