Because he has the talent to play in the NBA but because of immaturity and everything else behind the scenes nobody wants to bother signing him and he's not even 26 years old yet.

Beasley is playing in China? He is way too talented for that.

Dude is better than half the players in the league. Hopefully he has a Gerald Green type resurgence and awakening after he left the league for a while.

Whatever happened to Kobe's "signature" expression? I miss those days when players would just express raw, unbridled emotion vis-a-vis such gestures, which were most certainly NOT CONTRIVED. The Mamba, in the midst of frustration similar to the Mr. Beasley's, would NATURALLY break out into this intimidating grimace, completely UNREHEARSED. Oddly, he stopped doing it altogether one day.

I'm sorry for digressing from the OP, but it just sparked a trip down memory lane!

Sometimes these type of players need to be in situations where they're able to take things slower then they're able to learn a little easier. They get put in the nba again they're able to handle it a little bit better than before. I hope this is the case with Beasley because he could still become a great player. He just needs to make better decisions and get off whatever drugs he's on.

He averaged 14/5 on a playoff team in 25 minutes a game. At 20 years old, 2nd leading scorer on the team. Averaged 15/6 in the next season in only 30 minutes a game. Played on a leash because of his defense and Miami trying to be competitive. Goes to a lotto team at 22 and puts up 19/6/2. Even in PHX/Miami he was scoring 8-10 points in 15-20 minutes a night when it was pretty obvious his head wasn't in the game, which is why he's out of the NBA.

He had the talent. Lacked the maturity and everything you need away from the court. Could have put up numbers on shitty teams or averaged 15-16 points on playoff teams. He could have been a shittier version of Jamison. Was never going to be like Melo/Durant like he got hyped to be but he was pretty talented. Just an idiot.

He's not good and that's why he's not in the league. He's a crappy defender without a position. I'll never understand why people can't accept that this guy isn't what they thought he'd be. He is exactly who/what he is. Get over it. WE went through the same shit with Tim Thomas and Darius Miles. Every year they were going to "breakout" or some bullshit. The guy just isn't a good player. You literally didn't acknowledge anything I said. Players who aren't "good" don't come into the NBA as rookies and be the 2nd leading scorer on a playoff team in limited minutes. He improved on that his 2nd season.

Lots of young players struggle with defense difference is there usually in situations where coaches can overlook it and let them work on it while they play. Beasley wasn't with Wade/Miami.

He had a really solid rookie season, a solid 2nd year, and than put up numbers on a lottery team his 3rd season. He wasn't horrible off the bench in with PHX/Miami. Laziness, immaturity held him back, like alot of players.

He wasn't the superstar people had him pegged as but he still had potential/was a solid NBA player. Immaturity is without a doubt the reason he's not in the NBA. You seriously think he's not good enough to get a roster spot in the NBA based on talent? :oldlol: Would love to hear how Chase Budinger is more talented. He isn't, he's just not a moron like Beasley.
