Dunno i'd be hesitant to bring back any of my favourites that ended. When futurama came back it was terrible. With good dramas I think they usually benefit a lot by having a set story and ending and not pushing the envelope. Shows like sons of anarchy and mad men have become terrible in the last couple of seasons by pushing past the amount of content they had, if they'd ended a couple of seasons back they would have been great shows now I only watch them because I know they finish soon. Same with true blood, that was interesting then ran for far too long.

If i had to pick though I'd probably say Deadwood to get a real ending and the hour which also ends abruptly.

Every show had a unique director, and cast of big time actors.
