Knicks are garbage this year (triangle offense LOL like Melo would ever agree to that). And they desperately need a PG who can be a playmaker and lead the offense. Even Calderon when he comes back doesn't' have the skillset of Lin.

I know he supposedly took more money in Houston (where the Knicks could have matched), but his contract's up after this year.

Yeah totally different skill sets. I mean Calderon can pass and shoot.

Calderon is 3 time the player Lin is.

i dont see why people are so high on him. for every good game LIN has, dude has 8 or 9 bad ones. wildly inconsistent.

Nah. But if it's a trade Lin + 1st round + junk to match salaries for Melo than I'm in.

Calderon is a great triangle type PG IMO. He will never turn it over (dude holds onto the rock better than Chris Paul IIRC) and is an absolute deadly knockdown 3pt shooter. He fits a lot better than Lin in that specific offense IMO. Calderon is a very good PG, very underrated.

Lin is better than he's getting credit for in this topic though.

Jeremy Lin is still very popular. His highlight videos on Dawkins and GD have the highest views. link (http://www.youtube.com/user/gdfactoryclips/videos).
