No
He will never be an allstar. But I hope he stays a Warrior forever.

I wouldn't even trade Draymond for Green straight up today.

A fat boy that can shoot the 3 and defend.

I don't think they'll ever be another AK47...maybe in 20 years. Marion is a good comparison.

Not sure which one was rarer; but Marion was a (much) better player than AK. He was substantially better at rebounding and on offense while not being much worse on D.

Well, I was referring to the other post above. "Past-prime" Marion

I doubt he'll drastically improve from what he is now. He isn't the most talented but definitely a hardworker. He's just what the Warriors need right now and I do hope he stays on the team for a long time, just seems like the perfect fit.

In terms of ceiling, I see Dray as quality starting SF in the NBA for a long time. I could see his peak being 13-15 points, 3-4 dimes, and 6-7 boards a game. Which aint bad AT ALL. His defensive versatilty as he improves at it could enable him to defend SG-PF all effective enough. I saw an AK 47 shout out earlier. AK 47 at his peak was a freak athlete capable of checking PG-PF. Dray is a more skilled scorer than Andrei BUT his defensive impact won't match AK 47. Two different players and defenders.

He simply cannot score on his own. His peak depends entirely on how good he gets his shot. It is much much better this year from what i can tell. I agree with about 14 ppg, 7 rpg, 3 dimes a game with solid defense as his peak. He is not the type of defender that marion or ak47 were. He doesnt have close to that athleticism. He is a position defender, reasonably strong for his height, and has a lot of energy. More a smaller Ronny Turiaf than anything else.

Something like Malik Rose when he was on the Spurs, with a 3 point shot.

I think that's selling him a bit short. True his individual creation ability isn't on the level as the higher options on his team, but Turiaf was an offensive net zero. Also Draymond has a higher defensive IQ than Turiaf in terms of his help and rotations on defense

We don't need Jeff Green. We need Dray's defense, whereas getting Jeff would be trading offense for defense.

Draygod is even exceeding my expectations and I am the first Draygod stan. I stanned him when he was just a role player.

I actually think he will surpass Rodman on the GOAT list. He may even come close to Pippen on the GOAT list.

Dray and Steph's improvement from last year to this year blows my mind. Especially Dray. He just continues to amaze. He is carrying the team right now.
