It was all right, a few bail-out long threes, one turn-around three at the very end of the game that's basically a bail-out too, and you're looking at an efficient night. Doesn't show up on the box score, so trolls have some info to play with, but everybody who saw the game knows the story

another idiot who doesn't watch basketball or the actual game...

Kobe sat at the start of the 4th and LA was down by 7.....then no one could contain Conley and they stretched the lead to 17...

Kobe checks back in and plays great, creating for Hill and Davis....hitting shots from everywhere...Lakers nearly won the game.

how does kobe rebound so much for a 36 year old shooting guard ???
How does kobe make so much assist for a guy who shoots alot and is surrounded by scrubs
How does kobe score so much for a guy with no elevation and all the defensive attention??

rest of the team allowed an 8-point deficit turn into a 17-point deficit as Kobe was subbed out to begin the 4th quarter. Kobe comes back and they erase half of that deficit in less than 2 minutes

When Kobe was off, the defense was much worse :confusedshrug:, and guys struggled to get anything on offense

Besides Kobe and Hill, everyone else was a net negative in that game. Kobe led everyone with a +8 while Ed Davis (some Laker fans have claimed he's the 2nd best player on the team), had a +/- of -11 (got destroyed by Koufos).

When Kobe sucks or is average, this team has no chance of winning a basketball game against anyone, that is the bottom line.

if you look at the +/- per 36, Boozer is the worst.

Sure, there is context. You mentioned he was the one who brought them back and had the best +/-. Well look at overall for the season. Boozer is ahead of him... So is Jordan Hill...So is Ed Davis... So is... Well, you get the point.

I don't get why people can't be critical of their stars. Laker fans with Kobe are particularly most persistent with it. Shooting 39% for the season, or in a game is never a good thing. Never. You can say, "who is he meant to pass to" all you want, the fact is, he is meant to pass it to just about anyone shooting it better than 10-26 in the game.

Yeah, he led them back into the game, he was also the one that shot them out of it earlier as well, especially when you look the rest of the team shot 50%.

:applause: Don't tell Kobe stans that though. Apparently Kobe's shooting percentage is only bad because he has to take bail outs at the end of the shot clock. We all know players like Lebron, Melo, and Durant have NEVER had to take bail outs with the shot clock running down. :lol

I don't get how flawed the OP is in his logic.

Seriously, you are reacting to the game on an EMOTIONAL level, not on an analytical level.

It doesn't matter when the lakers were down 17, or when they were down 1. The fact is that they still lost by 5 points. It was more EXCITING and DRAMATIC in your brain that they almost came back from 17...but there's nothing really that significant about it in terms of the outcome cause they still fell short.

OP is watching and evaluating a NBA game like a porno. He is dissapointed when the cumshot happens in the first 5 seconds, but is excited and could get himself off when the cumshot comes 30 minutes later.
