I went into NBA archives and watched pretty much every play of these players careers in the pros. I used a points system to measure the players ability and impact on the court.

The results were... Surprising.

Nice list. I'd switch up Duncan and Kobe but everything else, for the most part, is damn flawless.

i would put mj over wilt as he was flawless in the finals and averaged the most points in post-season history but other than that i can't complain too much. mj is my personal goat but i can see the argument for kareem.

That is more or less my top two tiers.

I'd move Duncan ahead of Kobe, and I'd move Lebron in front of Kobe. That to me is the line for the to tier. After that I'd replace Pip with West. And then you're pretty much there.

I'd rank within the tiers a little differently, but at that point it's a matter of taste more than much else.
