After the Warriors 5-0 start Warriors fans were referring to Kerr as the 2nd coming of Phil Jackson, saying all the team's issues had been solved and that Mark Jackson was a worthless bum. Now after consecutive loses these Kerr stans are awfully quiet.
Based on what I've seen so far the Warriors still have the same issues they had last season. They rely too much on the 3 point shot and turn the ball over way too much. In the future maybe we should wait more than 5 games before anointing a rookie coach as the Bay Area's savior. :confusedshrug:

Right here bro. Kerr will be considered a top 10 coach by the end of the regular season. He will be top 5 next season.

Yeah let's bash Kerr because he lost a game to the Suns without Klay and David Lee and lost a game against the reigning champions again without David Lee. After all we all thought Warriors would go 82-0, don't we?

We wont know about Kerr till late in the season. Like I said, the difference between the Warriors this year and last is that Steph and Klay were (are) better players. Other than that, it is way to early to say what Kerr is doing.

Mark Jackson was a worthless bum.

No matter what happens, Mark Jackson will always be a mentally challenged, worthless bum.

Kerr is still the 2nd best coach in the current NBA. No worries here.

They hopped on the Walton bandwagon. Next they'll jump on whichever other no name guy with a suit the Warriors install as the puppet coach.

It doesn't matter who coaches them in the regular season at this point anyway. They already have a system in place and the players have already bought in. That's all a coach is responsible for in the regular season. Installing a philosophy and system and having guys buy into it. In the playoffs a coach can display the rest of his attributes like , play calling, etc.

PJ and Kerr are just products of Michael Jordan.

Take away Jordan and those guys' careers are going no where.

I wonder how many rings Jordan won without Phil Jackson.

Way to doubt a future top 5 coach. This is why you will never make it out of your parents house and have a successful life on your own. You have no insight as to what the future brings.

Exactly. A coach is only as GOAT as his GOAT player. In Jackson's case, his GOAT player was Jordan, so he was considered the GOAT for the longest.

Otoh, in the post-Jordan era, Pop as become the new GOAT coach and rightfully so considering his GOAT player is Duncan.

Then Larry Brown must be the exception.
