Have anyone noticed the injuries for NBA has changed drastically over the last 10 years?

Before the most common injuries were knee tendinitis and plantar fasciitis that caused the bulk of injury time.

We barley hear about those issues anymore and now it is more common to see a concussion, bad back, broken bones (hand, finger, leg, face).

This is a sign that basketball player changed the way they play or it is from advance medical knowledge?

I think there were plenty of broken bones back then too, just not as high profile.
