How are the Knicks so god damn terrible?

Listen up, this isn't a Knick hating thread. Honestly I had expected them to fight for playoffs out East under Fish and PJax. I had high hopes, especially after Melo supposedly trimmed down over the summer. Amar'e getting "back to his old self" (took that with a grain of salt but he's clearly better than the last 2 seasons). Shumpert gets another year of improvement and has looked solid. Fatty Felton is gone. At the end of the day, if the Knicks are good, that's a very good thing for the NBA.


But damn my projections were WAY too high. Fluke win over the Cavs, and somehow edged out the Hornets. But they just got taken out by Orlando, a team that you look at and say, "They'll be good 3-5 years from now" :biggums:

pretty simple answer. If MELO is really a franchise player...so the franchise will go as far as melo can take them.
