"Kobe averages less misses per-game than MJ!"
He's bricked 1,073 more shots than MJ and made 1,074 LESS FG's.
Kobe = All time regular season missed shots leader with 13,421 Kobe = All time post-season missed shots leader with 2,485
Kobe = bench player for first two years, played w/ Shaq 8 years & missed playoffs one year - still all time playoff missed shots leader by age 32.
NBA Finals:
MJ: 35 games, 34ppg average on 48% - 473 misses
Kobe: 37 games, 25ppg (9 less ppg) on 41%, 475 misses.
Kobe has missed 2,300 more shots than he’s made in his career. The 3rd highest ever (1. Iverson, 2. John Havlicek 3. Kobe)
Kobe is the only player in NBA history to win a Finals MVP while shooting under 50% in EVERY game, he did this TWICE (’09 & ’10)
Kobe holds the record for the worst FG% for an NBA Finals MVP ever (2010).
Kobe holds the record for most consecutive NBA Finals games shooting under 50% with 15 (2008 Game 4-2010 Game 7)
Seasons Kobe has led the league in missed shots per game:
04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12 and 13.
It took Kobe 727 more shots than Jordan to reach 30K points.
Kobe = 133 games scoring 40+, 50 of those have come with sub 50%FG. (37.5%)
MJ = 211 games scoring 40+, 29 w/ below 50% shooting. (13.7%)
Kobe set the all time missed shots record in 18 LESS games than John Havlicek. Didn’t do it thru “longevity” did it thru shot chucking.
By comparison it will take Kobe 200+ more games to reach MJ’s point total.
Kobe is missing 15.05 shots per 36 minutes this season (2014-15) The HIGHEST mark in NBA history. (Kobe 2015 and Iverson 2002 the only ones to appear from the modern era)

Kobe faced much better defenses in the Finals, this is well documented.
04 Pistons & 08 Celtics are GOAT-level defenses, heck, Lebron shot 39% against the same Boston team that year(not shooting 50% once)...and he's a much more efficient scorer than Kobe..
And Kobe's the only player since MJ to average 32+/5+/7+ for an NBA Finals series...

Also, OP is a dumbass for comparing stats across eras (Kobe to MJ), when the defensive rules are night and day and the competition is not the same, game is more team-oriented and has evolved to advanced statistics and teams looking into everything in-depth to help give them some sort of an advantage, league keeps adjusting to changes every year.
It's just not the same.

jordan career 1.31 points per shot
kobe career 1.30 points per shot
if kobe attempted the exact same shots as jordan per game. he'd also have 30ppg career
misses dont matter. as long as you're making up for it in other ways. like drawing fouls and hitting free throws/making threes

You know whats funny?
In a Kobe vs Wade debate, you downplayed Wade's 2006 finals by saying they were mainly the result of worse defenses due to the rule changes...
Now with Kobe vs MJ you make a 180
