well said, it's easy to understand the hate for Kobe tho,

you have the residual MJ stans, VC/tmac/AI stans, Bran stans Wade stans, Shaq stans, Pau stans

Kobe is literally enemy number 1. yet still literally MOST DISCUSSED MAN AT EVERY BBALL FORUM I FREQUENT

So if you break that down per NBA season, then Michael Jordan scores 22 more total points per year over the course of an 18 year career with the same number of field-goal attempts.

Sounds significant.

that's less than a game difference per season

Edit: 31920 PTS 24570 FGA

Go back 33 FGA to get 24537 FGA

33 PTS 28 FGA @ 11/12/2014
5 PTS 5 FGA last 5 FGA @ 11/11/2014

= 31882 PTS 24537 FGA

So 414/32292 is the percentage for how more efficient MJ was than kobe.. It must be a MASSIVE percentage difference.. hold up lemme bust out by calculator real quick.

1%.

Are those points scored off of actual field goals, or did you forget to subtract the points from free throws?

MJ made more FTs than Kobe did.. so if anything he getting a bonus in this comparison of efficiency.

You should have subtracted the freethrows from the total points. So the actual difference is about 1100 points.

Then, that should be accurately accounted for.

Why would they need to show up? OP is simply confirming what everyone already knows, Bryant is an inferior scorer.

MJ 50% shooter = clutch = has the right to shoot

simple as that

There is no need of maths when comparing MJ and KB efficiency - it was visible by all who had watched NBA in 80s and 90s that MJ was far more efficient scorer. And he was more clutch than Bryant also. As I also posted several times both players are very easy to compare since KB stole MJ's moves, played at the same position, same height and so on.

And not to mention Kobe finals games/stats where the difference is even bigger.

How is it flawed? Are you saying 3 point shots and free throws should be taken away from the game of basketball?

Do you want two point shots only?
