He's like Vlade Divac and 01 Dikembe: his team's most valuable player.

James Johnson.

Bounces from team to team and never understood why the bulls gave up on him either.

Shows physicality, defends well and shows flashes of offensive ability.

Very very underrated by not only fans but also the league.

I wanna be honest, I'm a Dragic fan but he's played like shit this year.

In hindsight, I wish the Grizz had kept him because Quincy Pondexter has not returned to form. Especially if they woulda been willing to use him as the backup 4.

At this rate, Conley will finally be rated properly by the end of the season. Seems like it usually takes the general public about 3 years to get to that point.

I second James Johnson. Hes a big impact player but even his own coaches underrate him because his bad plays look worse than most players.

He can close out on defense better than anyone in the league so he can be fully helping near the paint and the three point shooter waiting for the kickout is still nervous.

Mike conley is a good choice.
Kyle Lowry is also underrated i think he was better then Derozan last year when Derozan made the all star team and he didnt.
Ibaka seems underrated at times as well

I was really expecting him to become a consistent All-Star after watching him and Camby tag-team Duncan in 07. And on offense he was giving you around 16 a game on 10 shots.

Guess it never really panned out, mainly due to health.

Kobe.

Dude is being mocked for being on the worst team the Lakers have ever put together.

He's being triple teamed constantly and it makes his percentages worse.

Nah no way, James Johnson always does this he had a stretch with Memphis where he was playing out of his mind than falls out of the rotation cause he tries to do to much. James Johnson could have been a premier defender/slasher in the NBA but he just never allowed himself to be one.

Taj Gibson is by far the most underrated big in the NBA he's been terrific again for the Bulls you don't give him enough credit.

Also Darren Collison this season has been super for the Kings, he's gone head to head with most the top PG and either won and drawn.

John Wall is pretty underrated actually and Wes Mathews is seriously underrated too. There is also players like Fournier that seems to be unknown in this forum.

Johnson never stopped playing well last year. Injured people came back and he got stuck on the bench though he should have been playing more. And he is a good slasher and premier defender, he just came into the league extremely raw starting basketball late for a swingman so people look at his age and blow off the progress he's made the last two seasons

Nah his play tailed off I watched the Grizz last year, Prince was rubbish and had JJ not fallen off somewhat he would have kept getting mins.

Larry Sanders. One of the best impact defenders in the league when he was healthy a couple years ago, and now he's healthy again and returning to that form.

We're still not a very good team but there's an obvious difference in the way this team plays defense now that he's back..our offense sucks balls but our defense is #3 right now and we're visibly giving teams some trouble on that end. Part of that can be attributed to Kidd motivating everyone to play with more intensity and energy..but Sanders is just a beast at the rim. 2nd lowest opponent FG% allowed at the rim (0-3 ft), 2nd lowest opponent FG% overall..with him there everyone is allowed to tighten up on defense, just changes the dynamic of the team on that end.
