I feel like i'm dreaming. 55,000 minutes, multiple international competitions, two devastating injuries, etc.

Kobe Bryant is top 5 all time and there's no denying it at this point.

Kobe is the first player to defeat father time.

Kobe took a contract offered to him by a basketball owner. Talk to Buss about why he couldn't afford more players.

Kobe is taking the most shots on his team because his team is full of garbage.

Nobody did that, you are imagining things. Pau signed with a team that had a better chance at the Finals (East, established young lineup).

So, you're just trolling now.

Also, it was public knowledge that the lakers were constantly trying to trade his ass, and he had just played 2 seasons under a coach that didn't believe in using big men. Yeah, Kobe can't be easy to play with but pau knew he always had his back. If Kobe was one of the reasons pau wanted out it was a pretty minor one.

It's no issue to argue.

Your're obviously a Bryant hater here to derail a thread...Instead of having class and appreciating a obviously solid accomplishment from a legend ur here just to degrade it. I don't like Jordan but when he dropped some big time games while he was with the Wizards I was impressed because here's a over the hill guy still slaying younger more athletic players. Kobes old as f*ck with mileage coming off of a serious injury in his 19th season and leading the whole league in scoring, It's impressive...yet u still try to discredit so in essence, why respond to you with class when you clearly have a vendetta? I'll respond only on ones level.

He has a contract cause the owner let him. U want him to take a pay cut? The money the team makes off his Name is worth more than a 30mill$ contract....U tellin me ud take a pay cut? There's other undeserving players on the team making crazy cash aswell, are u madd at them? I bet not, because u only seek to blame Kobe because It's a part of ur vendetta...U not even a Lakers fan yet worried about their cap? I wonder why?....

Oh yea Cold Soul, U inboxed me the other day....My Top 10 based off everything, stats, accomplishments, exc..

1. Jordan
2. KAJ
3. Duncan
4. Magic
5. Kobe
6. Bird
7. Hakeem
8. Shaq
9. LeBron
10. Oscar

I do have a bias towards the 60s, I just feel those times were weak.

People will trip seeing Kobes name above Bird untill you realize Kobe has more rings, same amount Finals MVPs, yet More, All-NBA Selections, All-Star selections, All-Star MVPS, All Defensive Selections, MORE points and assist...Only thing Bird did better than Kobe was Rebound.

One more league MVP at a time when Bird and Magic were it for the NBA doesn't negate all the shit Kobe has over Bird.

We all know Kobe was robbed of at least two.

Which years specifically did he get robbed? Knowing that the league gives out the MVP to players on top teams, you can't truly claim '06 or '07. I don't see how you could give it to him over LeBron in '09 or 2010 either, considering LeBron put up better numbers while leading his team to a better record in both those seasons. Besides those, I'm not even sure which other season he'd have a legitimate case for MVP

19 year vets don't shoot the air outta the ball at a 38% clip, leading the league in FGA. Most guys at Kobe's age take a step back and mentor the young players by means of getting them involved so that they can eat too.

Kobe's body of work is nice and all, but what he's doing right now doesn't warrant respect. Guy is playing selfish, unadulterated hero ball.

Guy is playing selfish, unadulterated hero ball.He knows they aren't going to win, and apparently doesn't think they have any young talent worth developing. So, he decided there's no reason not to go into 06 level chuck mode, pad his career scoring total, and maybe even get a third scoring title.
