Think about it.

Bulls get:
- A player who will actually play
- An offensive threat
- A guy who would embrace the minutes Thibs would give him, instead of going to the locker room every 5 minutes

Lakers get:
-Ability for Lin/Boozer/Hill/Young to actually shoot the ball
-Possible out-tanking the Sixers
-A player who won't stop Randle from developing when he returns(since Rose will sit out anyway)

What y'all think?

Bulls get raped. Kobe is a net negative. Rose is a net zero (on the bench).

Rose is definitely a net negative if he's getting paid to be on the bench, and he's not coaching :whatever:

On talking purely on the floor. Kobe is making more than Rose anyways.

Do you just read ESPN.com and post whatever Analytics bullshit they spout? Everyone knows you don't understand what the **** you're talking about.

I read some. Articles by Henry Abbot mostly. But mostly, I just watch games.

The Bulls may wish they hadn't maxed Rose right now but paying Bryant beyond max would be worse. If they can have him healthy come postseason Rose makes that team the only EC threat to Cleveland. Bryant has game left but he's not as good as he was when leading LA to tutles. His current season is on par with 00/01 Stackhouse.

Yeah but current Bryant is significantly better than current Rose (considering injuries). Bryant is a lot better at creating his own shot, which is the area the Bulls are really lacking

The current Bulls don't want what Bryant is giving the Lakers. That 39% is a problem from a guy shooting as much as he shoots if you're trying to win games. I do have more faith in Bryant to go out there and play but if he doesn't change his style I don't see how they beat Cleveland. And seeing as he's played this style for what, 19 seasons? I wouldn't bet on a change. When Rose plays he plays he can be one of the league's best. Bryant seems to have lost a bit from his glory days.
