Bro, IDK how they do it in Houston, but here in OKC we call it "no shave november" like these fine gentleman are trying to explain.

It's a month to grow out your facial hair, and in previous years, the emphasis was on the beard.

It's all trendy bullshit. the ALS Ice bucket challenge was for a good cause too, but still trendy bullshit.

Grow out your stache to raise awareness for mens diseases? I think people just want to be able to grow it out without being ridiculed. They're only comfy if everyone else is doing it.

Movember originally started in Australia and I heard about this long before people here try to be trendy and do it. Originally called Movember, now people are trying to call it "No Shave November" to try and fit in or be trendy.

Actually in all honesty the last couple Movembers running I've hit solidly above my monthly average in hookups. So it's not only the lulz but surprisingly effective with the skinz.

It's for a good cause. My local bar raises cash and all the patrons growing Mo-staches have our Mo-trackers. Bar patrons vote for the best mo and donate. Winner gets a $100 GC at the end of Movember.
