View Full Version : dunno why kobe haters wish for games like this

if he has many more he'l just say "f*ck it i'm finished"
and then youl all have nobody to watch
i mean the guys trying to get back into shape. but maybe the achilles and father time has caught up
we'l see if he can improve as the season goes by. but to hate on this guy for having the guts to attempt this comeback is pretty bad
its sad that you guys dont know just how close kobe is to hanging them up. if anything you guys should cheer on kobe and hope he can get even halfway to where he was during his prime. that way you can all keep having someone to keep you interested
its obvious your hatred for the man is even more powerful than your love for any one player or team.
if kobes doing bad. you'l all sooner tune into that game than your own team winning
so be careful what you wish for.
nobody lasts forever. i mean is it really that much of an "i told you so" moment at this point?
we're way beyond that. kobe just being able to run and jump is surprising.
i have my doubts lately on whether he can be a great player again. for a while i saw signs of it. but its almost like hes hitting the wall already.
i'm not sad to see the end. i had my fun. but what all the haters were hoping and praying for these past 20 years will come and go before you even have a chance to enjoy it. retirements happen over night. one minute a guys playing. the next minute youl never see him again
so really think about what you want as a fan. a competitive kobe that loses at the end of the year. or no kobe what so ever
you want the competition. you want kobe to be respectable. you wont admit it. but you do. so dont laugh at nights like these. a few more and it could be "time"

He's merely 1 of 14 Lakers

Kobe is not the only player that plays in the NBA.
yeah. hes one of 2 or 3 that 90% of the fans even care about
losing 1 of the box office guys would be a huge blow to the nba.
and haters. they dont realize just how much fun they have watching kobe lose.

I don't wish for games like this all the time....just 1 out of every 14 or so.

I actually read this nonsense and it reads like something you're trying to convince yourself, tbh almost as if you've come to grips with your idol near retirement

I'm simply an objective basketball fan. I call it like I see it: Kobe Bryant is the most overrated player in the modern era of the NBA.

why should i be ashamed of that? i came to grips on kobes possible retirement when he tore his achilles.. its the haters that show genuine belief and more respect in the mans game than anyone
the reactions from people on a bad game from kobe is like they are genuinely happy/shocked/in awe and going bananas with happiness and excitement
who does that over something thats completely expected and warrented without shame.
kobe hatred is the highest form of respect
if people just said "meh yah thats kobe.. what else is on ( click )"
then it would mean the haters arent even haters. but realists
but haters are the biggest fans. even bigger than me.
i dont even get mad when kobe has a bad game. its when kobe has a good game that i get excited. cause i have no expectations

people like brunolowski, markmadsen etc are making the kobe hate for me.
and the fact that he is just not that good. he is a good basketball player, but overrated on the def end on the off end and also his so called clutchness is overrated.

well you're a weak minded sap then.. you should appreciate kobes effort at this stage and under these conditions
some fans trolling you and you turning into a blind hating a*shole because of it just means you're easly manipulated

of course his numbers are pretty good for his age.
but do you think dirk couldnt reach the 27 ppg while taking 24 shots or so?
i think you have to relativate his numbers

well kobe played the entire season a year before. but he missed the playoffs. so its more around a year and a half
but i remember dozens of threads about "missing kobe" from allot of well known haters
people need an enemy. they need a guy to hate. hating on a guy who doesnt have a leg to stand on is pretty sad. but its all some people have on this board. and its way more fun hating on a guy whos still playing than one thats out for the season or retired
i'l say it again. kobe haters better hope that dude has some great games mixed inbetween these really bad ones.... or no more fun on your friday nights like this one
cause god knows watching lebron succeed isnt nearly as fun as watching kobe fail. am i right people?
i watched lebron today. his slow motion layups at the end and drawing fouls or being bailed out by kyrie in the 4th wasnt all that interesting
kobe shooting 1 for 14 was the highlight of most of your guys year i bet

Ratings have been down actually. Dunno why the NBA is hell bent on helping small market teams because it's not helping them financially
