They got NBA Players to play different. Act different. Now watch what happens next.

These guys don't have the loser mentality that floats around the Knicks fanbase. Phil didn't come from Williston North Dakota all the way to New York City because he thinks you get gifts handed to you. He know you have to go get it.

Everybody thinks that Phil is going to do what they all want him to do. Thumbs up asses and wait years for superstar to show up on the doorstep. Phil wants to win. He'll do it by trades so that eventually superstars want to show up on that doorstep.

You guys really think Phil isn't playing you. You think he's listening to you and is in it to just pass the time. Trades are coming, installing a different mindset worked. Carmelo is in. Jr is in. That's news in itself. Now you add 2 of the pieces they had some of the highest hopes to begin with. Hopefully one of the bright spots so far in shumpert isn't hurt too bad. Good things are coming from this team because of what Phil and fisher have done so far.

First move is need a guard and a pf. I really think it will be Brandon knight, but who could they go get?

Knight, illyasova, 2nd
For
Hardaway, Larkin, dalembert, thanasis

That would be hilarious to turn Tyson chandler and Felton into Calderon, Brandon knight, illyasova, cleanthony early, & a pick this year in the 30's.

Amare, 2 2nds
For josh smooth and jerebko

To bad Crawford and hawes wasn't realistic for that thj/Larkin/dalembert/thanasis deal

You are undervaluing the power of grabbing nba basketball players attention. There isn't 6-8 nba teams that have that.

Getting JR into the starting lineup without "giving it" to him is going to help turn it around.

Phil prob realizes he has to trade for a guard. Showcasing Larkin, hardaway, dalembert, and amare without hurting the team will be the focus. The difficulty of trading amare is prob the holdup. It might be the December 15 date from the other side.

I don't see any trades happenning. And even if there is one, it's not going to be a season changer.

PJax as a coach is genius. PJax as a GM is horrible. Re-signed Melo to a horrible contract and then got Fisher as coach.
