I've been a huge Kobe hater for most of my life

But watching him this season with the Lakers,
how you can feel anything but empathy and respect for this dude
For going 110% and willing his team to be at least close in games

Is the most incredible thing I've seen for someone at 36.

Have we ever seen a player at 36 play like he's 30 years old?

The Lakers are a mess (including my man J Lin), but the fact that all these haters are trying to put ANY of the blame on Kobe is ludicrous.

He has no other option but to ball hog, and he's the best player I've seen do it.. including compared to Haren and Melo.

Disrespectful.

i dont think anyone with a BRAIN would say kobe is at complete fault for the lakers' situation - but he is sure one of the driving forces.

unless he miraculously becomes efficient, kobe should NOT be averaging the most FGA in the league, nor should he have more FGA than his starters combined.

He's being paid 25 million so he'll be judged on that standard.

I don't think he's one of the driving forces for why they're losing... I think they'd be losing regardless. He's not the cause of it.

His teammates are really really bad and his best teammate is J-Lin who barely plays aggressive (Which is his main strength)

This. You can't take best player in the league money and expect to be judged on a crippled old man standard.

Fun Fact: Kobe this season has a chance to become the first player ever with a higher USG% than FG%

Is that suppose to be a lot of money as a nba player? The lakers made a 3 billion dollar deal with time warner cable. One of the main reasons why they got that money was because of Kobe. Why else would people watch the lakers... jeremy lin? :facepalm

:facepalm The point is that Kobe is the highest paid player in the NBA!
Knicks fans man. And btw, Jeremy Lin was responsible for the Lakers only win this year, not Kobe.

Lakers would of made just as much money, probably more, if Kobe was on a lesser salary and they signed a star to all-star alongside him. :facepalm

Kobe had a sick reverse dunk and even he looked surprised.
