Why do fans hate on certain superstars? For example, what did Kobe ever do to get all the hate in ISH? What about Bran? Why hate and make fun of him...last I check 2/5 is better than 0. Why all the hate from Bran fans on MJ last I check 6/6 is > than 2/5. :wtf:

People don't really hate players, they hate their fans. Noone hates Robert Sacre or Hasheem Thabeet because they don't have fans. People usually have some player who they respect and like better than others so they see threat in other as good player/his fans and they just wait for some mistake or bad game to happen so that they can insult their fans. As people need some player to worship they need some to hate to balance it.

For example Kobe and LeBron, they are probably the two players today who have most fans, and there are probably some knowledgable fans this discussion usually ends up with 2/5 or 6/24 or some other number that's their just for purpose of provocating and drawing attetion.

People who worship LeBron or Kobe can't stand that other fans think their favourite player is better so they gather all the information available to make them and others think othwerwise.

But in truth, the hate stems from people trying to validate their favorite player as being the superior athlete to their rivaled competition. You'll have one poster speak in an arrogant tone about how their guy is this, this, and this. In turn, the fan of another player rebuts the aforementioned poster with his own arrogant claim that his guy is more than this, this, and this. And before you know it, you have yourself a shit storm of poo, piss, and other bodily fluids that secrete from ones genitals. So in other words, I'm kinda drunk and don't know what the **** I'm talking about.

It's because of fans who worship one player. They want people to know that they are the number one fan of the best player in the world, and have been from the start. Any player that is a threat to their status is hated with a passion. Usually these fans are not very knowledgeable about the game, they just focus on the stats of their favorite player and the player they hate, often totally missing out on other aspects of the game. It's best to stay out of any thread about Kobe, LeBron, or Jordan, because you will inevitably be dumber for having read any of it. :cheers:
