View Full Version : The Heat with LeBron this year would have gone further, than the Cavs will this year

- Wade and Bosh are playing great still (hmm maybe because of CHEMISTRY and TEAM CONTINUITY?)
- Irving and Love are both very inexperienced playoff players
- Spo is 3x the coach David Blatt is
- Once again inexperience.
- Cavs don't play defense.
LBJ better hope Love doesn't leave during FA or that they can REALLY make a run next year. Because he could have easily made the finals again with this current Heat team.
Not discrediting LBJ's talents, just his decision making.
Lebron already said this....

Well boo-****ing-hoo you can't do anything about it anymore. LeBron is in Cleveland this year so don't even bring up the "If LeBron was still in Miami then..." bullcrap.

Lebron on the Heat = FInals pretty much every year
Lebron on the Cavs says he has no expectations for the first year or two.
Do the math. Of course the Heat would have been better than the Cavs this year.

How is this even plausible when he just went to join 2 other all stars and the media & Lebron himself are the first to say they are not expected to win this year

Not discrediting LBJ's talents, just his decision making.I agree that he would've had better chances this year, if he stayed with the Heat.
Shawne Williams' shooting has been amazing, McBob is a great roleplayer for their system, and Ennis looks like he could develop into something. Apparently Pau was leaning towards joining the Heat, if Lebron stayed, but I'm not sure he would've fit in very well. They'd certainly have to alter their defensive gameplan to accommodate him. Throw in the continuity, winning culture, etc., and they'd have to be favorites to make it out of the east again.
For his legacy, and odds of winning after another year or two, I think Cleveland was a better fit.
