Good to see Napier and Ennis get some opportunities.

Hamstring strain. Better to be cautious with those tbh because if something goes wrong you could be talking about 3 months or so.

Bosh has been in a shooting slump. Needs to get to the rim more.

Chalmers has been playing well. Dude trys too hard to get calls or instigate, but when he plays within himself he's a good player.

aka.....he's fine. Just a maintenance game for Wade. Pat hoping Bosh and Deng can carry the load like James did last year and the year before.

Even though I just made a semi troll thread about Bosh, I kind of feel bad for him. Having to pick up Wade's slack all season is not something any star player can do. If Lebron had trouble doing it last season I don't know what hope Bosh has. :confusedshrug:

Just curious, but who do you want the Bucks to target via the draft, FA, or (more unlikely) trade to be the PG of the future? I know you like the Hawks' Schroeder, but I don't ATL think gives him up easily. I could be wrong, but you guys may want a more facilitative PG than Knight going forward. He seems like a nice bench piece as a combo guard though.

Bosh just isn't that kind of player. He's a good shooter and capable of being a nice second option, but he isn't a guy who can put a team on his back and carry them to wins on a consistent basis. His contract honestly might go down as the worst in the history of the Heat franchise.

I know the team looks decent right now, but if the Bucks have taught me anything, it's that they're not to be trusted. I can definitely see this team going on a huge slide and ending up a 25-28 win team.

I could see us getting a 4-8 pick...in which case I'd try going for a PF/C or a PG. If Mudiay slides, take him for sure. Otherwise go for someone like Myles Turner, Cliff Alexander, etc. I'll have a better idea as the season goes on, when we know how this team is gonna end up.

But yeah as for FA/trades, Schroder's my guy. We need a natural PG, and not just that, but someone young enough to be here for the long-term with Jabari/Giannis. It might take a lot, but at this point I'd be willing to trade anyone but Giannis/Jabari for him. If we can't get him, we could just go for someone who could hold down the fort, either with great defense, or with solid playmaking..pretty much anyone who doesn't look for his own shot..maybe Beverley or Calathes.

As for Knight..agreed, I would love him as a 6th man scorer. Just can't have him running the point consistently, or our offense will never reach its potential.

Bucks defence looks legit 10 games in. Thought they would end up around 25 wins this season but wasn't expecting such consistent effort on the defensive end.

Wade has always been better than Bosh. This year should be no different.

I missed the second half of the game going out to eat. Someone mind recapping it, minus the Bosh shooting which is evident in the box score.

Back to back pathetic performances at home for Bosh. Just not going to get it done.

Wade is really going to have to have a true sense of urgency this season. Can't be sitting out games so easily. Fight to stay on the court. Tight hammy? Pssssh.

Was there ever any doubt that Wade was the best player on this team, and by light years for that matter? He needs to strap this team to his creaking body, or this season is gonna get away real quick.

I figured he was gonna become the team's leading scorer soon, but I didn't think it would happen with him sitting out. Pray to God that he suits up tomorrow.

As hard as it is to accept, he has to sit out if that's what he's dealing with. A strained hamstring can turn into a torn hamstring and 3 games into 3 months. And there goes the season. As long as they can at at least get the #7 seed, and stay away from the Cavs, the ECFs are at least still a possibility.

Yeah when bosh received a bigger contract than Wade. Bosh is not a max contract player the heat just couldn't afford to lose him because there wasn't anyone we could realistically get that was better. But he does nothing at an elite level. He needs to grab his balls and man the **** up. Wade can't shoulder this team anymore.

Despire struggling, Bosh is an elite midrange shooter and elite pick and roll defender.

But yeah, he's not a max player and not a first option.

So we're just gonna ignore that the Bucks are #3 in DRTG, #3 in points allowed, #4 in opponent FG%, #8 in opponent 3PT%, #9 in opponent TOV%?

We're gonna keep acting like the Bucks had nothing to do with this win, containing the Heat offense in the 2nd half, and Bosh playing poorly?

:(

Here's hoping that it's just a brief bad stretch of games and not a sign of things to come. Every game- win or lose- I try to take at least one positive thing from the team's performance...But I can't tonight.

Good for the Bucks though. It's nice to see Knight (from ft.lauderdale) play well and show that he's more than just the guy who got dunked on by Deandre

Bosh has been in a slump for a few games now. Plus with Wade out he is relied on to produce. 2/17 is unacceptable no matter who the opponent is.

Luckily he goes against Brook Lopez tomorrow. Wont be able to guard him, but could put up 40 of his own.

Yeah I'm not disputing that, Bosh sucked dick tonight.

Just getting annoyed by the "ROFL BOSH GOT LOCKED UP BY ****ING ZAZA" comments, completely downplaying a collective effort defensively by a good defensive team.

You are truly an optimist, my friend. Bosh has been exposed, and without Wade this team is only in contention with the Sixers and the Lakers.

With the major caveat that the Heat played without their franchise player, the Bucks get credit for stopping an otherwise terrible team.
