You can get fans more aware of good players who are in small markets who do not get enough national exposure. That's marketing.

People who play fantasy can watch to see if their guys are killing it.

Show nice dunks, passes, blocks, etc

As if ADHD isn't a big enough problem in todays society. Moreover this is not a practical suggestion for basketball because the game is too fluid and too fast paced.

Yeah it makes sense when the bases are juiced or there is the tying run on 3rd or somesuch scenario. However the concept does not lend itself to basketball where scoring is so much more frequent.
