Based on comments here, people seem to think Lin's problems are confidence/swagger related. I agree.


What do people here think?

No, he's not very athletic compared to other guards.... or skilled....

Just a pretty useless player to me. His game has never impressed me.

He has below averaging finishing and passing and handles. So no, they arent all mental. His only above average attribute is his quick first step.

Look at Gasol and Dwight Howard leading their teams to top seeds now

No I don't, I just think that you're seeing the real player. He still can't take care of the ball and his shooting is still erratic and he still only has one speed. It's not that it's bad it's just that this is what he is and people can't accept it.

he looks the same now as he did in houston.............he only looked good in NY when Melo was out
Lin is a cancer that needs to dominate the ball and needs a system, is an overrated defender, low skills, low IQ, low athleticism............hes not talented enough for the system to be beneficial for the team wins

His problem is MDA isn't coaching the team.

MDA makes ANY point guard All-Star level in his system (Lin, Felton, etc.). If you're already an All-Star, you'll be a Superstar (like Nash).

All the problems are with people who can't let go of Linsanity.
Lin had a good brief moment, but it's all but over now.
