There is no way we finish the season above .500.
Prior to the season starting, I was saying just at or under .500, but we have no shot with the amount of games Wade has already sat, and will continue to sit throughout the season.
Tank and get a good pick. I don't want to be some 35-45 win team for 4 or 5 seasons straight.

Nah. This team at full strength can be a 3rd seed. Tank for what?

That is the whole point. It won't be at full strength with Wade constantly sitting out.

They can't tank. Otherwise, they spent 120 M on Bosh for nothing. He'll look better again when Wade returns, as will the whole team. He creates space for everyone.
Plus, no 2016 FA that matters will be in play for Miami if they don't stay relevant.
And from the players' perspective, Wade and Bosh don't re-sign if the plan was to tank. To tank would be to throw away Wade's last years and Bosh's prime. If the Heat told them the plan was to tank, Wade would be a Bull, and Bosh would be a Rocket.
Just try to stay near .500 and pray Wade gets back soon and somehow stays back when he does. As long as they end up on the other side of the bracket from the Cavs, there's still a possibility of going to the ECFs.
It's A VC3!!!

This Nets team is total trash. Just disband this worthless team please! Instead of paying the highest luxury tax in the league just get a number 1-3 pick in the draft.

I can't believe Wade has that much impact on the team still. I'm going to watch the Heat after the Cavs game.

Nets could swap KG to call contending team for picks.
Do you think Joe, Deron, and Brook have any trade value or would keep them all ?

Wade is damn underrated offensively. TBH, even against constant injuries his impact is just a tad below his prime. So, even though his scoring is way below compared to years before he still impacts the team just as much as CP, KD, or Lebron does.
Why is Bosh letting Chalmers out play him?

we'll be alright. if wade's injury was something else like recurring knee problems, i'd be a lil more worried. but a nagging hamstring can happen to anyone and isnt considered serious going forward. the thing is, hamstrings are tricky so you got to treat it carefully or itd be a nagging injury all season.

I wouldn't keep any of them. No point in paying $20m for each player for no reason. Total trash. They pass the ball once or twice per possession and hoist a horrible shot. Defense is just crap too.

How the hell is he getting to the line so much?
Even before tonight's game he was averaging more fta per minute than Wade
Hopefully he keeps it up I miss watching Rio and the Heat hopefully I can soon

I'll take it lol. He's never been a player who go to the line much in the past although I always thought he was an underrated driver. Would like to see Rio continue to average 13-15 PPG. Maybe he can win 6MOY

Chalmers with those Harden stats!
Lol I knew Wade was gonna take over the scoring lead soon, but I didn't think he'd do it from the bench. He's now within .1 ppg of Bosh (I'll give Bosh credit for a couple big shots, but not too much credit. He's sucked for all but one few-minute stretch of the last four games, when the table was set for him to prove he deserves that contract).

Hmmmm, the thing about Bosh is that he has a greater propensity for Big Games than Wade does. Wade will struggle to hit 30 point games because he's not gonna chuck lots of 3s and shoot alot unless necessary. He will have a higher field goal percentage and more assist easily.
Bosh is more relied upon to shoot, so he will have 10 point games, 15 point games, and I suspect a few 40 point games.

In the thread for the last game Wade played I was saying he should be more aggressive. If he is going to play 30-33mpg I believe he should be shooting enough to average around 22-23ppg in that time.

I highly doubt Bosh will sniff 40. If you were following the trend before Wade started sitting out, he was starting to take more shots than Bosh every game. I said after the Mavs game it looked like Wade had decided the Heat were his team again.
Bosh hasn't outscored him in a game they both played since the Rockets game on Nov. 4 and even then it was only by 2 pts, as it was the night before vs. the Raps. You have to go back to the Philly game (Wade's one bad game this year) to find a game where Bosh significantly outscored him. Even in the season opener, Bosh only out-pointed him by 5.
If Wade comes back and picks up where he left off, all questions about whose team this is will cease. I do agree with you though that Wade probably won't score 30 that often. He doesn't shoot enough, take enough 3s or get foul calls anymore. It'll take one of his ultra-efficient games for him to get there.

There's also a matter of balance, as in, this team relies on Wade to get other guys going, including Bosh, who has really suffered in his absence. When Bosh plays with Wade he gets more open jumpers and good catches around the basket, helping him establish rhythm, attack and grab more offensive rebounds etc.
