Clippers. They are playing this poorly despite the core of their team already being together for like 3 seasons and same coach as last year. Cavs got a new coach and completely new core.

Clippers, easily. They play in a much tougher conference, and they dont have Lebron James. Pretty much ends the debate right there.

Both teams will be fine.
Cavs issues might go a bit deeper though, they have more to do with personnel than anything. Whereas the Clippers just seem to lack energy and a sense of urgency. That can all change over the course of the season, as I expect it to. I have a hard time believing they'll be getting blown out by a Rose/Gasol-less Bulls team come March/April.
But you can't just magically turn Love, Irving into great defenders, or Varejao into prime Mutombo. Guys like Thompson, MMiller, Marion at this stage, Waiters, Dellavedova, etc aren't exactly DPOYs either. And Lebron isn't where he was defensively a couple years ago to compensate. They just have a limited ceiling defensively. Their offense could be incredible, but it takes more to hang with a team like San Antonio, who had the #3 defense to go with their offense. They can get past the Bulls, but some of those West teams are ridiculous offensively..San Antonio, Dallas, Golden State, healthy OKC, etc...and all of them back it up with good to great defense.

Clippers just look like crap so far. Theyre built to make the second round thats about it tbh..
The Cavs need to start playing defense and theyre top 2 in the east. I think a healthy Bulls can take them but yeah i doubt thatll happen.. thibs will kill them by march..:facepalm

It's Spurs regular season doesn't matter for them, while for Clippers regular season is all that matters.

cavs. Right now the roster is a mess with only lebron carrying this team. I'm not even expecting them to make the playoffs tbh.

I admire Blake improving his range but he needs to get back to setting himself the low post, not settling for jumpers.

both will be fine.
clippers will end around rank4 and cavs rank 1 or 2.
in playoffs it wil be very hard for the clippers to go the the WCF, while there is nothing easier for cavs

love was better than lebron last night.
and i hope Denver is active as a trade partner or 3rd team if Cleveland do decide to trade Irving.
I would consider Mozzy and Lawson for Kyrie

I see the opposite really. Clippers problems are a lot about the roster and how it's constructed. There's not much to be hopeful for in that sf rotation. It's a whole lot of yikes. Jordan and Blake still don't work well enough together on either end of the floor. Clips are a bottom seed and a first round exit unless they make roster moves. Memphis, GSW, Portland, SAS would eliminate them. If OKC gets healthy toss them in there too.
Most importantly like Akrazotile already said...the Cavs have LeBron James.

Yes, because the Suns defenitely need another shot-happy point guard.

I'd say the Clips have bigger issues. They've maintained a similar core but they've regressed, perhaps due to Collison and Gentry leaving.
The Cavs have a brand new roster and coach. They just need time to mesh is all.

Lol @ anyone who is delusional enough to think there is any chance kyrie is traded. He just signed a max contract give it up he's not going anywhere.

Clippers do. They should be an elite team and it's still early but they got some serious issues on both ends of the floor, but the offensive production is still worrisome.

Things will balance out. Both teams will do well. But the Clippers are really troubling right now. Yes, it's basically the same team with the same head coach. But different assistant coaches. The offense looks different and doesn't seem to be working at all. I think they really miss Alvin Gentry. If something works why change it. The defense is not any good either. They are playing iso ball..which is like the VDN days. Something is going on with that team. They also need to a real wing player.

You know if you bring up trading Kyrie for Dragic in EVERY thread you post in, I'm sure it's going to happen. Keep Posting!

Cavs could easily be 3-6 or something similar had they not got a bunch of calls in some of these games.

yeah, I guess their game vs Boston is just fresh in my mind. The one-sidedness of the officiating once CLE was down 18 points or whatever, was sickening.

Both will end up around 55 wins. Clippers 4th or 5th seed. Cavs 2nd or 3rd seed.

They were lucky to beat the Bulls. .bulls made some stupid fouls but I guess they were lucky Jimmy Butler didn't play that game.
