19th season coming off 2 major injuries playing with scrubs and Harden is in his prime.

Kobe is averaging 27 points and Harden is averaging 24.

Kobe is shooting 39% and Harden is shooting 37%
Kobe is shooting 30% from 3's and Harden is shooting 27%

Kobe at 60% in his 19th season coming off a torn achilles and broken knee> harden 100% healthy in his prime

What kind of monster was this man called "Kirby" at Harden's age? :biggums:

Are you making this thread after Kobe took 28 shots to get 29 points?
Meanwhile Harden took just 11 to near match Kobe, with 24 points.

I think if Harden was on the Lakers tonight and Kobe on Houston, the Lakers would have won by 20 odd.

Kobe averages 5 board and 4 assists, while Harden averages 7 boards and 7 assists.

But yeah, regardless of what anyone says, Kobe will probably be seen as a top 5 player 10 years from now. No shame in that.

Shooting percentages are a bit off, considering the fact that the stats haven't been updated by the ESPN/NBA websites yet. Kobe had a rough shooting night tonight (36%), so his overall FG% will probably go down to 38%. Harden shot 64% today, so im guessing his % will go up by 2 or 3. Not a really big deal, but I just wanted to point that out.

Kobe is obviously scoring more points than Harden, but other than that, Harden has the advantage in everything else. Nonetheless, I think both guys are having pretty nice seasons even though they've had their share of down moments this year.

Doesn't matter, fact is people torch Kobe for having a bad shooting % in his 19th season coming off TWO major injuries. This ***** Harden is in his physical prime and is shooting worse for the season. :confusedshrug:

lol? If Kobe played vs the Lakers with Harden, who on that team would be able to defend him? There's a huge difference between going up against Ariza + Beverley or being left wide open from 3/being guarded by Wes & Harden...
