if he was a top 5 ( and soon to be possible top 3 ) player all time with:
2000 - broken hand
2003 - torn knee, torn shoulder in playoffs
2004 - rehabing surgeries
2005 - missing 1/3rd of the year
2008 - torn hand/fingers
2009 - more torn fingers/ligaments/broken dislocations
2010 - dealing with hand issues
2011 - knee surgeries
2013 - torn achilles
2014 - broken leg and more knee surgeries
sh*t... without all this he might have 9-10 rings and the all time points record by now
also fix those 2 ( and soon to be 3rd ) lockouts

How the heck is this the only guy to say D. Wade? If he was healthy, he would've ended up as the 2nd best SG ever (probably tied with Kobe at that spot). Would've won rings in '05, '06, and '13, WITH FMVP's, if he wasn't injured. Might've won FMVP's in '12 and '14 (if the others played well) as well.

If I had to choose just one, Bill Walton.
There have been some good mentions though, Oden, Roy, T-Mac, Hill, etcn are all great choices. Hopefully PG and/or D-Rose doesn't have to join this list. Also imagine how dominant Yao Ming would have been without the foot/knee problems having him miss every second or third game.

'07? Doubt it. The team was garbage. Too old. Would've lost to the Cav's. That still would've been an EPIC series though. LeBron vs a healthy Wade in '07?

Only reason I think they could have in '07 is because the East was TRASH that year, arguably the worst it's ever been. If Wade was healthy, I honestly don't see why they couldn't have made it, would've been an EPIC duel between him and LeBron had they met up
Roy or Oden as a Blazer fan.
Yao would have been good too, because that would have erased the 09 Lakers championship most likely.

Agreed.
Bulls, Pistons and Lakers would be in deep trouble if Bird was still healthy past 1988 regular-season. Even more, if McHale didn't play through a broken foot, or better yet, if Bias didn't die... Too many hypotheticals though.
Yea, during their (relatively) healthy years, Bird was the better overall player for the most part.

For me, I would say Grant Hill. At that time, he was the MOST WELL ROUNDED SF of all time! Bron of course took that shit to the next level. G Hill combined the point forward skills of Pippen with the freak athletic alpha dog shit of Dr. J. That had never been seen before in the NBA. He was really growing into when the injuries happened.
Ironically the 2nd player on my list is T-Mac, who Hill would have played with in Orlando. That tandem equals rings flat out. If both could have stayed injury free, I would have taken them OVER Bron and Wade as a tandem!

You know, if he goes injury free, he isn't even in the '84 draft. He missed two full college seasons and his natural graduating class was '83 but considering how highly thought of his skill set was in college, he most like comes out in '81 or '82, which changes the whole landscape of the NBA a good bit. In every draft from '80 through '82, he easily goes number 1 overall and the only time he wouldn't, he'd have been taken after Sampson in '83.

Penny, Hill, Wade, Tmac, and Sabonis are all really good picks in my opinion.
Bias and Oden we just don't know.
My top pick, just going by what he could have been without injury, would be Walton. We're talking about a guy that was arguably better than Kareem(who many see as the goat) at his absolute peak. Probably a top 5 player ever had he been perfectly healthy.
My second would be Maurice Stokes just for how sad that story is. He would also have been one of the all time greats.

Walton would have to be #1 on any list.
Having said that, though...had Chamberlain not shredded his knee in the ninth game of the '69-70 season, he likely would have won yet another scoring title (as well as rebounding and FG% titles.) He also would likely had led the Lakers to a title, and probably would have hung a 30-20 series in the process.
Furthermore, we KNOW that Wilt easily outplayed Kareem in their ONLY H2H game in which was played before that injury. It would have been interesting to have watched those two go at it, with a Chamberlain who would have been much closer to his prime, than the Wilt that was post-surgery.

Walton is the biggest one, not only because of what he could have been but also because him healthy would have absolutely changed the 80's. During the season he got injured, the Blazers were 50-10 after 60 games, basically a 68 win pace. And they were literally unstoppable.
With Walton healthy and hitting his prime (He would have been only 27 when Bird and Magic entered the league and he was still a spry 33 when he won in 86 and given his playstyle, he would have lasted until 40 as an effective rebounder and defender ala old Duncan), would the Lakers have won in 80 and 82? Or Boston in 81 and 84? The Blazers would have been a force to reckon with and the NBA landscape would have changed.

Agreed 100%. The 80s probably would have even been better if that's possible. And there was never a more sure thing then the 78 Blazers if he stayed healthy..
Another thing about Walton is as good as he was he was never really healthy. Even in his UCLA and prime Portland days he wasn't really healthy. They always had to limit his practices and minutes because he was always struggling with problems..Would have loved to see what he could have been if he was totally healthy and could go all out.
Well at least we got to hear him announce games..

My God, a completely healthy D-Wade would be scary! I actually sort of enjoy the craftiness he's incorporated into his game to make up for his diminishing athleticism, though.
I'll go with a name I don't think I've seen yet: Ron Harper. One of my favorite all-time poor man's Jordans. Him without the ACL tear would have been deadly. He was fun to watch and probably would have gotten a couple All-Star berths.
