My expectations are finals. Only because the East is so weak at present. They would make 2nd round in the West if they were playing very well since West is an open field. I think it will take at least a year of gelling for the Cavs before they are true title contenders. Does anyone actually think a bunch of players can get together and win the championship with most of the impact players being young and inexperienced?

There impact players are very young and inexperienced. Second of all, Lebron is suppose to lead this guy and that is not good. He is not a good leader or a hero. He is a product of a system.

They need to make the playoffs first so the young impact players can get some experience before they win it all.

Playoffs. That's it. Anyone saying otherwise is hating or trolling.

Lebron is not a natural leader but most leaders are not natural leaders e.g. Dwight, Kobe, Harden etc. They are all very poor leaders but with good other skills which put them at the leadership position by the management/team. Good leaders with natural leadership skills like the michael jordans, Larry birds, Shaqs etc...their team mates loved following them and enjoying their presence. We can't criticize skill for not matching leadership. One does not mean the other in any way. But your right in terms of having at least a year for the young players to gel together and get some experience. Everything takes time, patience is the number one virtue.

If its a second round exist I expect a Lebron + Love + Varejao Vs Irving + Thompson + waiters fight. Old team mates vs new team mates duking it out over how the system should be. Management steps in and trades Waiters and Thompson for athletic wing defender and rim protector and finals/championship the next year.

Embarrassment and then, ultimately, failure.

Second round exit.

Came here to post this. No team playing defense that atrocious is doing anything significant in the playoffs, even in the East.
