We're at 3.15 in Southwest CT, the lowest I've seen in ten years too. Just a few years ago it felt like if it dipped below 4 bucks people would be filling up plastic jugs.

I also just paid 2.75 for heating oil, which is the lowest I can remember it since I've been paying for heating oil.

During 2009, when cargo container ships were being parked on beaches (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-1212013/Revealed-The-ghost-fleet-recession-anchored-just-east-Singapore.html) and millions of americans (and others) suddenly had no daily commute gas prices dropped prett dramatically.

This image shows the "ghost fleet" of empty cargo ships "parked" in Singapore and Malaysia.

The month Obama took office gas prices were down $2 from just a few months before. So gas prices have risen Since Obama took office

Nah man, I haven't seen gas dip under 3 dollars in San Diego since before the recession hit. That's just for San Diego though. I can't speak on national averages

3.15?

Dude come to Central CT. 2.79.

35c * 13-16 gallons est. = $3.75-$5.25 saved.

Plus you can get better eggs over here in the farming areas near Middletown and the Spring Water.

Make the trip!

You can also find San Diego prices as well from the same site. Jan 2009, average price was below $2 in SD.

Haha I know why I don't remember the price dipping that low. I got laid off right around that time due to the recession. So I wasn't driving much, if at all

Yeah gas hasn't been under 3 where I am since early 2008... Other than one freak week a few summers ago when it was 2.98 for a day.

It was 2.85 yesterday. Literally dropped about a dollar in 2 months.

I think you mean 2009

Blame O&G companies for high prices. Thank Obama for low O&G prices.

Dat logic.
