Gotta admit that is pretty cool, and yes we Americans would like to do the same if the situation was reversed. But most Americans these days couldn't even finish our own national anthem, let alone Canada's if it was a basketball, football or soccer game. :lol

Disagree, Americans would, and American hockey fans are well versed in O Canada.
They sang O Canada the day of the attack in Ottawa at the Penguins game and two American teams were playing.
Americans and Canadians talk a lot of shit to each other but at the end of the day we are the only two truly advanced countries on the planet, so we got each other's back.

O Canada, our home and native land.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
True Patriot love.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Essentially something like that, although I'm sure I missed a few lines.
correct me if iam wrong but Boston fans cheered and sang the Canadian Anthem after some Canadiens Fans booed the American anthem.

I am going to have to somewhat agree with this and also most Canadians don't even know their national anthem own but can recite ours.:facepalm
Also, it is easier to remember the American national anthem because it is a pop song or secondary national anthem to the world.

as a Canadian, every morning when I wake up I sing the American national anthem
we only exist cuz they let us exist
hail USA!
That's the first step to treating your Master with the Respect He Deserves.
You can follow up by quickly kissing His feet after bowing down.
Later, you'd be wise to hand over your Poutine and women to US, so that we can mold them to our Will of course.
