Imagine a player thats a small forward who is 6'8, 225 pounds, has a 7'4 wingspan, and averages:

7 PPG, 12 RPG, 9 APG, 2 SPG, 2 BPG, 3 TOPG on 60% shooting and 60% from the FT line.

So 7/12/9/2/2/3 on 60% shooting on 36 minutes per game. And he plays the best perimeter defense in the league, and can guard 1-5.

How good would he be?

He's basically Dennis Rodman just more efficient and a WAY better playmaker.

he'd be as good as Dennis Rodman just more efficient and a WAY better playmaker.

So you've got a big, long forward that averages nearly a triple double, is top 5 in rebounding & assists, is the best outside defender in the league but also gets you 2 blocks, is a great playmaker...his only real weakness is shooting.

So what the **** do you think?

For someone that handles the ball so much, he has trouble averaging over 10 points? Especially since he is shooting 60%. That being said, I'd love to have him on the team. He would lead to a lot more wins than Melo at least.

He was adding more input to the thread, especially since no one else replied. It was like a mini-bump to his thread. Hardly exposed.

I remember when dudes were signing smak to their posts and people were like LOL EXPOSED.

All of these alt people. Why? Stop having alts. Best to have multiple personalities on the same name. Jussayin.

sounds like a 6'9 rondo.

He has the playmaking of Rondo, the rebounding of Reggie Evans, the defense of Tony Allen (with better length and 3-4 more inches of height) except he's much better at getting blocks, and his scoring game would be that of an efficient role playing SF basically.

7 points a game as the main distributor? Considering he's capable of rebounding well at his height and playing the best defense in the league.. his athleticism must be elite, so whats the problem? Why can't he score more? Can't shoot? Bit gun shy I presume?

Alright in all honesty.. he'd be up there as a top 3 player in the league. Only thing that's holding him back is scoring. Only players I'd take over him are LeBron and Durant.. that's it.

That's the problem with this...there is no way this guy would only average 7ppg. It's just a dumb hypothetical.

Guys who are tenacious rebounders and defenders often don't operate under the same mindset as guys like Harden and Melo.

Who is to say the guy wouldn't play like Rondo or a few others, and whenever given the chance, willingly pass up an open basket for an assist?

lebron james minus his offensive game.

lebron james minus his offensive game.

with better passing, less turnovers, better rebounding, and better defense, and better length yeah, sure.

Like a Diaw and Josh Smith combo.
