We all know he is a lazy prick who never had his head in the game. This question is only about talent. Is he the 2nd most talented center in the last 10 years, behind duncan?

pros:
GREAT size and length, mobile, strong, excellent hands and touch, great defensive instincts, a post game that had both finesse and strength, signs of an alpha mentality
cons:
arrogant(not taking lessons from cap :facepalm ), lazy, didn't give a fukk, didn't get much of the ball (kobe, kobe, kobe kobe), injuries

Imo he had some games where anyone could just see that he had tremendous talent. I mean he showed flashes of impact that were wayy beyond what we seen of cousins/ad/oden/gasols/noah and superior to howard (offense counts..)

I shudder to think how much hair phil lost coaching this guy :lol

His career went bad but it wasn't about the attitude. Not only anyway.
Bynum has rotten knees. I think the best version of him was what he could've done if he hadn't injured his knees. (We could see a little in 07-08 before he went down)
As far as talent I think Yao had more.

skillwise? certainly. the whole package (athletic ability, explosiveness, rim protection, mobility) not so sure.

great all-around player.

great FT shooter for a big, great post game (mentored by Kareem himself), underrated defense (that 10 block Playoff performance was epic), great rebounder.

He was semi-healthy and managed to play most of the lockout season, and he was an all-star starter. Now imagine a completely healthy Bynum that is the main option on a team. Dude also had a 30-rebound game against the Spurs that year with Kobe out.

He had a lot of talent, but he never cared for the game as much. It was his ticket to financial security and living the rest of his life as he wants. Dude's 27 and has made 80 mil, take taxes & shit off that, that's still about 40 mil.

He had two amazing games last season. I think the lakers took it too easy on him. It took him . Years just to be a starter. He got so used to being babied

He's donated more than half of his earnings so that just goes to show that he's a good dude. Always got hated on but he's got a good heart..

There has never been a bigger waste of talent in NBA history. I don't understand why this dude has no work ethic.

But he got them checks and got them rings.

Bynum is intelligent. His body failed him though.

So now the story has morphed into "Andrew Bynum is the most talented center in the last 10 years." You people have to stop. It's like you're all a bunch of ESPN "journalists" and just say stupid sensational statements. This is ridiculous.
