Doesn't matter since it's championship or bust. :confusedshrug:

Yes but this Cavs team is more flawed than that Heat team, lucky for them this years East is much weaker than 10-11 and 11-12.

ECF doesn't really matter, LBJ lead teams have championship aspiration and it is hard to say the Cavs are darkhorses at this moment much less serious contenders.

And then get manhandled by Lakers, Spurs or Thunder. 2-6:applause: .

This is different. The Heat played defense and it became their identity. Kevin Love is not going to magically morph in to a defensive force after game 17.

Neither will Kyrie become the GOAT off ball player Wade was within the next twenty games. Neither does he want to be.

Cavs will be lucky to be 9-8.

Didn't the Heat have Prime Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh?

After the 9-8 start, they were at 30-10 at some point, so a 21-1 record after the bad start.

Doubt cleveland will do it.

Kobe and Lebron having the same exact impact on their respective Teams.

Their fans can be at peace now. :applause:

Let's all hold hands and forgive.

they will make the ecf, when lebron turns his playoff mode on in playoffs..
and will make the finals, because competition in east is very poor. even last 2 years was better with healthy indiana and miami heat

Playoff mode?

Lebron never plays better in the playoffs.

although, Wade didn't develop his off the ball skills until 2nd season. First year it was an issue.

He was still a beast on D, even in 2011. I dunno what his stats were like but I remember in the playoffs he stripped someone like 6 straight times. He could really get into the passing lanes like Kobe did earlier in his career during the Lakers threepeat run.

Lebron never plays better in the playoffs.

Hard to do considering he's one of the greatest regular season players ever already... top 3 for 10+ years, and he matches his level nearly all the time...

2006, 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2014... all great post-seasons.

this is a different situation though. while I do think the cavs will figure it out eventually, they got a while to go

the difference is Lebron joined players who had won as a major role on their team.. Wade had a title and FMVP and bosh had a few playoff series... not to mention like jalen rose says the ultimate puppeteer in Pat Riley

Lebron is currently 30 years old, probably exiting his ultimate peak(he is still phenomenal)... Kyrie and Love have never won before, never sniffed the playoffs.. then throw in that they have a Rookie Coach in a new country and a Rookie GM in David Griffin

Now it is very early in the season.. but the cavs have a lot to figure out
stay tuned

Bosh made the playoffs twice, getting bounced in the first round each time. I would hardly consider that much of a success

lebron publicly stated cavs were 15 years away from competing for a title.

Regardless, he has smelled the hunt of making the playoffs and knew how what it took...

No matter the skill level or how good you say they are, kyrie and love cannot say that

The Heat played defense and 2011 Wade is better than Kyrie and Love combined.

"Miami's +/- in their 9-8 start? + 100, or +5.8 average margin of victory.

The Cavs +/- in their 5-6 start? +6, or +.5 average margin of victory.

Miami's average margin of victory usually points to a 55+ win team. Cleveland's usually points to a .500 team."

yea totally the same............no top 5 coach in Spo

This

The Cavs are a defensive burden they are not going to win games like this.
I can not see the Cavs having the same level of dominance as the 2011-2014 Miami Heat. And the games the Heat lost that season were generally very close
