Thunder small forward Kevin Durant (foot) and guard Russell Westbrook (hand) are both "healing at an accelerated rate" and could be back in the starting lineup as early as the end of next week, according to the Oklahoman.

Both players made some progress while working out this week and are scheduled to take part in non-contact practice Saturday and will be re-evaluated next week.

Westbrook's injury isn't career altering. If Durant comes back too soon it could very well be career altering. Brook Lopez and Roddy Beubois are two that suffered that same injury as Durant. Durant better make sure he heals before he starts playing in the NBA again.
