As we know, Hawks were in talks to get LeBron. They were actually noted a top 5 contender to get LeBron this past off season. The line-up would look like this.

Jeff Teague
Kyle Korver
LeBron James
Paul Millsap
Al Horford

Backups:
Dennis Schroder
Shelvin Mack/John Jenkins
DeMarre Carroll
Mike Scott
Pero Antic


Is this a championship caliber team? He has all the role players, a great PG and 2 great bigman on the team that don't need the ball in their hands to be good.

Atlanta does not acquire defensive beasts Thabo Sefolosha or Kent Bazemore, however.

Kyle Korver, arguably the best shooter in the NBA, would be open way more than he is now due to the double teams LeBron would receive. And Korver is already averaging 14 ppg on 56% from 3 on 75 attempts.

Horford is one of the best Pick n Pop players in the league, which LeBron loves to do.

Would they even sell out games with him? Probably not during college football season...but seriously, they never had a chance to get him. That roster could win the east...maybe, but they would get crushed by at least 4-5 western teams.
