If we ranked the players just based off of how they're doing this season, Anthony Davis would be the #1 player on my list by far. LeBron isn't even worthy of top 10 because he's had games where he's played so poorly and the Cavs are below .500. Davis is bringing his A game every single night and the Pelicans are about to become 7-5. What a player.

Having talent doesn't equate to a well built team. Just look at Cleveland.

The parts don't fit in New Orleans. Not right now and I don't see the potential in it a few years down the line. Not if you are building around Davis.

Gordon heyward is looking amazing as well. But Davis is just so efficient. Mostly rebound put backs and such, but he is really dominant on the blocks.

The team is garbage especially in the West. AD would have to have performance like this every game against the West teams to get a high seed. The coach and team not structured well. It might help actually watching them play.
