View Full Version : James Harden
No usual Harden thread tonight?
Is it because he single handedly took down ISH's western conference champions? The flavor of the month?
I didn't catch the game, but judging by the lack of Harden threads, he must have played awesome.
Houston down three starters and still beat that ass. Ha.

lmfao @ Houston beating one of the favorites in the west with 2 starters out, 3 starters out in the 4th quarter. It was pretty sweet watching Harden hit the and 1 go ahead bucket on parsons.

Some people just hate for the sake of hating.
There were people hating on Lillard at the beginning of the season.

I still think he's crap. I like this Rockets team and it's going to be sad going into the playoffs because he's not going to show up for you, he's not going to miraculously change come play off time.

32 points on 44% shooting with 13 FTA :kobe:
only starter with a negative +/-
needed Dirk to miss 14 out of 18 shots to even win by 3...
No mention of Beveley going ham from 3 & shutting down monta :kobe:
Mavs shot 6/35 from 3, ain't gonna happen too often either.
Im so nba'd out

Great game from Harden, but "ISH Western Conference champs"? lol
Both Mavs and Rockets gonna be overrated come playoffs imo

Regular season
Houston can finish the season with the best record in the league and they still wouldn't make it past the 2nd round once the refs quit calling Harden's calls.

If there's one guy I want to have on my team for the first 82 games, it's Harden, hands down.

Dude made 8 field goals and ended up with 32. Sounds like a typical Harden game so I dunno what there is to talk about :confusedshrug:

what people missed is him guarding monta ellis to a standstill in isolation two consecutive times down the floor then switching onto dirk on a third possession and contesting his game tying three...
... to go along the usual acrobatics and soft touches around the basket that essentially won the rockets the game
this is a great win without dwight. bit of a meltdown in the fourth no question, the offense looked terrible for that comeback. they were at 81 for like six straight minutes. but the defense killed it to close out the game and harden hit a few miracles.

If anything, this game didn't show how good Harden is, or Houston is. It showed how average Dwight Flowers is. He has a negative impact on the floor. The advanced statistics support this.

harden is good for some regular season histrionics but his game will disappear in the post season like it always does. WHen you are foul reliant, you are unreliable

Typical Harden game..
32,8,4.
But since Houston won, theres really nothing to say right?
Unless you want to talk about how Dallas choked

4 of his field goals were 3 pointers. That's 12 points right there. The rest were obviously layups/jumpshots. In total, Harden had 20 points without free throws vs Dallas. That's still really good, so I don't see what you're complaining about. Give the guy some credit. He had 32 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals on 68% TS. He also made a key defensive play to save the game and was the biggest reason why we beat one of the best teams in the league, the Mavericks, without Jones and Dwight. That's some big stuff right there.

all of those qualities will ultimately lead to a first-round exit.
