I agree.

It has got to be Demarcus Cousins.

No order:

Dwight, Cousins, and M. Gasol.

I also don't think Dwight is #1, more #2, so...

If a Kobe stan is asking me, my answer is Howard
if anyone else is asking me, it's Cousins

howard hasnt been the best center in the nba since before his back surgery

even the biggest kobe hater agrees with this

and i also dont understand why anyone thinks kobe fans care that dwight left. with him we barely made the playoffs cause he wasnt even trying half the time.

Came back much earlier than he should have after his back surgery and played over half the season with a torn labrum...but he wasn't trying. :yaohappy: Idiot.

He's still the only center in the league who has led his team to the finals besides Duncan, but Dwight is still in his prime. Last year in the playoffs, he was back to his old school playoff numbers

i wouldnt call going to the finals from the east "leading"

more like "runner up by default"

all he had to do was outlast a choking bum in cleveland that froze out his team mates

Can't you be objective like, just 5% of the time?

Anyway, it's DMC and I can't find much of an argument otherwise. Gasol is dope, but they have better coaching and supporting cast.

Marc Gasol for sure
best defender in the league, great passer and shooter, most complete center

Have preferred Gasol as the C I'd want on my team for years. It's different if you go by PPG or All Star games, highlight reel dunks etc. Or any individual stat.

But for the best all around C that helps get you the most wins, Gasol has been my pick for 3 + years. Out of anyone in the league. It used to seem like bias, but these days he's starting to get so good, that others can recognise it as well. He's already done it in the playoffs against the best teams in the West, so to me that makes it different to these players that play on bad teams, have good stats but have never done anything in the playoffs.

Andrew Bogut imo is a better defender than Marc.

Onto the question it's a three way tie between everyone already mentioned, there is no clear best out of the 3 so far.

1. DMC
2. Marc
3. Davis

Marc without question. DMC gets nice stats. Marc simply impacts the game more.

One of the biggest myths on ISH, check the difference between the Kings with and without DMC on the floor. Kings are also 0-12 in the last 12 games Cousins didn't play. They were also killing the Mavericks/Grizzlies on there home floor's by 20+ when Cousins was not in foul trouble and the moment he got into foul trouble both teams came back.

Cousins impacts the game more than his stats actually suggest.

When healthy, Andrew Bogut has a legit case.

The problem is the health part.

The immaturity label is like the bad defense label. Once you've acquired it, it can take years to shake off no matter how untrue it may be in the present.

Since Anthony Davis is really a forward who plays center sometimes, I'ma gonna go with...

BOOGIE!

Marc Gasol is beasting, but he also has a significantly better team around him. It does make a difference, though Gasol is probably #2.
