Anyone else feel this way about alcohol/weed?

Ever since I stopped smoking weed, I've became quite a bit of an alcoholic, I'm sure this is a dumb thread to post, but there has to be a correlation, right?

I'm curious to see what alcohol companies think of marijuana. Ever since I stopped smoking the good stuff, this shit has made me into a major alcholic, like wow.

I stopped smoking weed recently, and i seem to drink a lot more, but thats because i go out with my friends more who all drink more. before i would rather stay at home, smoke a blunt and play videogames:lol damn, now i want to get high and play skyrim...

What people say is true though. Think of your life... your whole life ahead of you. Eventually, you have to face it. Every high will end. Change your reality, not your perception.

I smoked muchweed and it was fun. Now, I don't. Even looking back and saying, "Wow, I was totally smoking too much weed back then." I can still look at it fondly.

To your original point, of course they want to block the sale of something that they don't have control over... yet. Imagine the amount of money people could make by growing weed. It's intensive to grow good weed, but I imagine most people can do it.

Why smoke cigarettes if you have endless weed, why worry about prescriptions? Why drink? Weed is better than everything and it's no contest.

I went through a similar situation in the summer, my main supplier moved to another city and i had no replacement for quite some time. Started drinking a lot by myself, finished like 4 bottles of gin in 5 days. After two weeks i just stopped, i figured out couple of things, alcohol is a worse replacement of weed in terms of combating stress, second i was getting addicted to the mind state where i didnt have to worry about shit. The solution? Man the fvck up and take responsibility for whatever is going on in your life. I still love weed and smoke occasionally. But the whole experience was kind of a wake up call, in a moment when i felt i was neglecting my day-to-day duties. I feel like im more conscience of my responsibilities ever since. IMO moderation is the key to smoking weed.

Alcohol companies are definitely anti-weed. It makes no sense for them to be for it.

same thing happened to two of my best friend. stopped smoking only to drink every time they would have smoked

but as the great joey badass once said; i dont drink too much, cuz i know the bud(is)wiser
