Seriously, it's about 4-5 years too early for that shit. If he wants to improve something it should be his defense, a jump shot is nice but it's not necessary for him right now. A nice mid-range and 3 shot would help pro long his career but it doesn't benefit his game right now.

I just don't understand how someone with his body and athleticism doesn't throw people around like rag dolls. You're getting paid millions of dollars to do what you love, and you're one of the most physically gifted players at your position ever...play with some ****ing intensity, my god.
Seriously, this dude is 6'10" 255 pounds of muscle with a 40+ inch vert, and he's shooting jumpers like he's like the midrange PF version of Korver :oldlol:
He needs to go watch prime Barkley and Malone footage over and over and over again until he realizes that he needs to scare the shit out of people on the court if the Clippers want to win anything.

Yo In my honest opinion I think he's gotten smarter where he knows not to play always at 100mph, learn to slow things down and speed things up when needed, I guess when he was younger he wasn't thinking about those things, but as he gets older, hes become a little smarter, dont get me wrong, he is still the same athletic freak of nature, hes just become smarter, doesn't want to risk injury etc...

What's up with his rebounding though? He's averaging a little over half of what he averaged during his rookie season. Brook Lopez-esque. I mean, sure DJ is a great rebounder, but less than 7 rpg? This is a dude who averaged 12 as a rookie.

Werd.
Barkley was talking about his game a few nights ago on TNT. Basically just said the Clippers will go as far as Blake takes them. Dude needs to impose his will in the paint. He's just THAT much more athletic than anybody else in the league right now.
He's one of my favorite players in the league, but he's been way too inconsistent so far. I even had him as my MVP favorite going into the season.

Shooting under 50% FG for the first time in his career, career low 6.8 RPG, career low in BPG, SPG. Goes on.
4, 7, 4 were his rebounding numbers from the past 3 games.
SMH. :facepalm
Dude had an awesome year just last season too.

You have to get stops to get rebounds.
Clippers need an athletic wing defender... badly.

He's probably still hurt. He's the type of guy to play even when hurt. You can tell that he's not 100% out there. He's not running as well or jumping as good. I'm not sure if he had enough time during the offseason for his back to heal properly. Not sure what it is, but it's something.

You mad, little boy? I will come up from behind you and pin you against a wall. You feel my icy cold hands run down your spine, onto your bum. I grab both cheeks, palming them like balls, as I spread them revealing your asshole. I then whip out my anaconda and forcefully enter your rectum. You scream in agony as I tear your anus to shreds.

Has to be. And his conditioning might be lacking as a result of it too.

Honestly it kinda seems like it.
He hasn't bern jumping as high or moving as quickly.
I think there may be an injury they aren't sharing as it is way too early for him to decline athletically.

I'm only guessing that he wants to take it easy on his body. He's developed more skill so the game is less taxing on his body. I think expanding his game will probably make him less predictable. Defenders don't know if he's going to shoot or make a power move. That makes him harder to defend. It's not a decline, it's an evolution of his game.
