All-time or current.

Probably between Duncan or LeBron for me. Who you guys got?

I find KD the most boring superstar to watch in the league. I find like 3-4 LeBron games entertaining (Boston Game 6 was incredible) but I haven't enjoyed watching him play on a nightly basis since 2009 probably.

All-time: Karl Malone

Current: James Harden (even though there are probably 15 players I would still rather have for my team... because I like watching all of them play).

The bottom line is that I usually enjoy watching good players.

Fans like me get a little free time, they watch shows like sports center from time to time. I know it's a shit network, but I'll indulge occasionally.

And it's like all you see on there is nothing but hype. Same thing with other media networks as well. Even NBA.com's MVP ladder had LeBron at #2 just a few days ago :lol :lol :lol

So yeah I don't talk so much about LeBron, it's more just me laughing at how much of him is purely hype, especially at this stage in his career where he's playing god awful defense most of the time.

I really have never enjoyed watching Blake Griffin. Yeah, dunks, cool - but his post moves are absolutely depressing to watch, regardless if they go in or not. He looks like a struggling newborn out there when trying to do something as simple as a hook shot. Keep in mind that I have weird taste - i'd much rather watch Melo or Aldridge over someone like Rose or Westrbook.

I know half of this is just trolling, but I know people who seriously don't enjoy Bron and I just don't get it. The court vision alone is some of my favorite stuff. I agree that the bulldozer approach to attacking is not the most aesthetically pleasing, he's also gonna do a few things a week that just no one else can do. That lefty catch lob pass layup from behind his head over the weekend was ridiculous.

I think folks are trolling when they say Lebron...Do I think he's that exciting? No, not really but when he makes an unbelievable pass or sprints end to end with super fast speed for a guy his size and goes coast to coast, its definitely not boring...Even his same 1 handed tomahawk dunk is monotonous yes, its not boring, thats an overstatement..I just think some folks don't like him...

But I would have to choose Howard also...He's very athletic but he's very robotic...Even when he catches an alley oop, it just seems so easy...

And how the hell are people saying Duncan? He has every post move in the book and scores at a high clip, how is that boring? He could even unleash a facial from time to time back in the day....

To me, I can't get excited over Dwight Howard, he looks like a retard on the low post, horrific footwork. I never was a fan of Melo's game. I was one of the few Bulls fans who was hoping that pudgy phuck would turn down our offer, thank God he did. I don't want that loser anywhere near our team. I also dislike KLove's game, he's an overrated stat padder. The Cavs are going nowhere with that horrific defense, and KLove is a big part of that problem.

Agreed.

Especially when his absurd Krypton / HGH given athleticism is popping. I mean, he put his nuts on Mclemore's forehead last season. Head was totally above the rim multiple times. As for his actual game? I never thought his jumper is as ugly as others consider it. His handle, and passing skill for his size is off the charts.

I mean just last game he crossed some dude with a sick behind the back and then a sweet no look dime to AV.

People saying he's boring are trolling. He's not as pleasing as refined footwork of smaller perimeter players like MJ, Kobe, Wade, Iverson, McGrady, etc but he's certainly entertaining. The ratings he draws is proof of it. Greatest since Mike actually in that regard.

Duncan however? C'mon. His game, personality, his look ... he's boring as hell.

Gotta disagree with you there, Swish. Peak/prime Timmy D was a hoops clinic on how the game is supossed to be played. While he isn't what he used to be, the fact that he's so fundamentally sound has made him still an effective player nearing his 40s. Flashy he's not but he's far from boring.

The highest rated finals since 98 were 2001, 2004 & 2010..

the lowest rated finals in history was 2007, and 2013 had the lowest rating in 5 years..

The people have spoken, Kobe>bran

The Spurs were boring in the early/mid 2000's when they turned games into ugly half court slogs. Today's Spurs are totally different though. Their ball movement is amazing...I don't see how any basketball fan would find them boring.

He's just a Spurs hater. When they are dialed in (like in Finals games 3, 4 and 5), it's beautiful basketball - the way the game should be played.

Their defense is not as good as it used to be (where they'd routinely lock down opponents) but still good with Duncan/Leonard/Green. The offense, however, is multi-faceted, multi-dimensional. The passing is exceptional, there's still Parker's penetration (although less reliant these days), elite 3pt shooting, post play (Duncan, Diaw, Leonard) and playmakers all over the place. And when Manu plays well (1 in x games), Spurs are like Federer when he's in "JesusFed" (jaw-dropping) mode - just a whole 'nother level.

This season - they've been bad on offense and good on defense. Hopefully that's just championship hangover, and the offense improves when Mills and Splitter come back.

He was so fun to watch against OKC in the Finals. I loved seeing him play with urgency when they beat the Spurs the first time. Just amazing the things he was doing because he had to do it. He would catch missed shots and dunk them. Truly just unreal stuff he was doing.

Lebron hasn't been that entertaining for a while now. Ever since he was on that 60% FG shooting streak.

He was so fun to watch against OKC in the Finals. I loved seeing him play with urgency when they beat the Spurs the first time. Just amazing the things he was doing because he had to do it. He would catch missed shots and dunk them. Truly just unreal stuff he was doing.

He's a shell of his former self.

sad but true
