I'm starting this thread because I want to know if there is a online betting sight. I think Portland will beat the 13 point spread. Our bench is hungry and I don't think they'll give up a lead if Portland gets up big.

Would any of you take that bet? I know that 76ers are really desperate for a win right now but I don't think this is going to be the night. Even on the second of a back to back Portland is on fire right now. The dropped 80 points in a half at Denver on a second of a back to back.

I'm thinking about placing a bet if I can.

I'm saying put it on Portland to cover the spread.

Betting on the 76ers might be smart if they don't get blown out of the building. All they have to do is not lose by 13 or more.

I don't know sixers are at home. It's a bet I stay away from. Portland could win by 20+ or find themselves in a close game pulling it out at the end. Good luck

Could be a trap game really..we might be the team that helps them break the losing streak..ya never know. We didn't exactly play all too well on the offense last night. Thankfully our defense is pretty nice now which helped

I really feel like this is going to be a 40 point blowout. I don't normally call these because you never know, but in this case, I've rarely seen a situation like this.

You've got a team on a 7 game winning streak vs a team with a 13 game losing streak. The Blazers have a way better starting line up, and the bench is good.

How in the hell would the Blazers lose this game? They'd have to play the shittiest game in the history of the NBA to lose tonight.

Overconfidence would be the biggest potential problem. I think that alone could keep it close for a while, but Blazers should pull out the win either way.

Probably. Blazers play really lax defense in first quarters. I can see it being close at the start. My thinking is that Aldridge and Lillard looked at their stat lines last night and are going to get up for this game.

I love my Blazers but let's be honest here...they are more than capable of going into a ****ball mode :lol Hopefully that's not the case tonight..I rather it not be us who help the sixers out of their drought

I can see it but not with how things are going now. I can't stand when people say "trap game". For a vet team that shouldn't ever be talked about as an excuse.

When is Embid going to be back?

No clue he is supposed to be out for the year. If he were to come back it wouldn't be until probsbly March or so. But I haven't heard of him playing this season.

Wesley Matthews is so inconsistent. Dude is so on and off.

He's been playing like shit for like the past 2 weeks.

I can already see what Stotts is doing. He's playing it super easy with the starters early so they can get more minutes later. He likes to make pushes later in games rather than early.

Since Stotts became coach the Blazers have been a different team in the 3rd quarter.

What? You think Stotts is intentionally letting the 76ers stay close so he can play our starters more minutes? That is the worst strategy I have ever heard.

The Blazers have been notorious for their great 3rd quarters. Just saw on twitter Blazers are 5-1 this year when trailing at half-time. I think Stotts realizes that it's just to burn your starters out in the first half. How many times do you see a team get tired in the 4th quarter after having a great first half? It happened to the Pelicans and Hornets. We beat both teams.

Lillard 94.7 free throw shooting?

He just passed Curry.

Yeah, Blazers are great in the 3rd. But why plan on having your starters minutes high all season and wearing them out when you could stomp a team down early and rest your starters? Blazers do well in the 3rd and are motivated to do so, but I don't think it is intentional to keep it close in the first half to keep starter minutes up. That part just doesn't make sense.

I see what you're saying. I think Stotts would love it if they'd kill them in the first half of course, but he's not going to run them for 24 minutes just to step on a team's throat. He is very conservative with teams he feels we should beat. If it's a really tough team he will play starters longer for fear of letting the game get out of hand. I guess I'm saying he doesn't fear the game will get out of hand with team we should beat.

The 76ers coach is awful. He called timeout when the 76ers were in a decent flow. Coming out of the timeout Portland goes on run and then he calls another timeout.

The f*ck? Does he think you call timeouts at random times?

I stepped away for a moment. Was it actually his call or officials timeouts? I really want NBA to get rid of those.

Can you imagine if I bet on Portland tonight. Batum gives up a lay up at the end the means Portland didn't beat the spread.:oldlol:

8 wins in a row. I think we keep winning until Memphis. That could be the end of the streak.

He called it. Their PG went to the sidelines, look backed, and called a timeout. The Mike's were like wtf.

Actually it wasn't that last basket. Blazers were -13. They won by 10 but still. Batum to a moronic 3 pointer in the final minute instead of milking clock.

I had Portland at 11.5, and Mathhews hit the 3 at the end to put them on 12, and then Sims makes the shot with 4 secs left.

Doesnt look like the Mavs will win by more than 11.5..
