This Cleveland squad won't make the finals. Especially with nonathletic Lebron.

Just getting into top 10 all-time assist leaders list will be a historic/unbreakable feat, imo considering no non-PG has ever touched foot there and i doubt there will be another one after Lebron...... hell, a non-PG doesnt even exist inside top 25.... currently the non-PG who is the highest up there is Scottie Pippen (#27).

...and neither does a player exist who is top 10 all-time scorer while also being a top 10 all-time assist leader...

Lebron will do all that and it will be unbreakable i believe, just as hard to surpass as Wilts 100 pts & Oscars TD season is. Considering a SG/SF/PF/C averaging more than 7 assists a game for his entire career doesnt come very often, if ever... especially not while also averaging 27-28 ppg for the career.... and it will take more than that career assist average to surpass Lebron.... so i really doubt there will be such a player...

While I agree in parts, i don't agree LeBron will have a career average of 27-28 ppg when he retires, more like 23-25 ppg.

No mention of the fact that Lebron has basically played the role of a PG who just doesn't have to bring the ball up the floor, and has done so most of his career. Stat-padders always gonna look good on the all-time stats lists.

Yes, but im just looking at his career averages now, 12th season.... and whatever his career avg will look like at the end he will still end up top 10 all-time scoring leader and top 10 all-time assist leader (i think he can manage 7987 asts before he retires), so i just doubt we will ever see some non-PG surpass that....

For somebody to surpass that he will need a career average of 27-28++ ppg (more than Lebron) and 7-8++ apg in his 12th season to JUST BE ON PACE..... thats what i mean....

If Lebron would start PG he would have the role of handling the ball as a main fulltime role, in his case it would mean he would bring the ball up for literally the entire game, every single ball possession.... and not like he is doing now, which is to occasionally do that and which mainly is handled by a certain Kyrie Irving..... there is a huge difference in possessions to padd assists when being a Point-Forward (a guy who does PG stuff sometimes more or less) and a Point-Guard (a guy who does PG stuff 24-7)....

Lebron gets his assists MAINLY because of unselfishness & passing ability/vision, he will get you minimum 6-7 assists even if he never is allowed to bring the ball up.... he just has to touch the ball, no matter where he is on the court and his natural instincts & skills will kick in...... if he actually played PG, he would average at least 10 APG.... i can guarantee you that....

I still say that year (2010) was Lebron at his best. Yeah he was smarter and more efficient in 2012/2013, but in terms of sheer dominance, 2010 Lebron was scary.

:oldlol: STFU. You're clearly biased if you think that. Those achievements by Wilt and Oscar being unbreakable has more to do with the game being much different back then over anything else i.e. no one is averaging 40 shots per game today like Wilt did and there's nowhere near enough rebounding opportunities for a PG to get 10+ rebounds a game. That's not the case with Lebron possibly being a top 10 scoring and assist leader. It would be an incredible achievement, but its not nearly as close to impossible as those achievements. Grant Hill may have done it if he was healthy. Dwyane Wade could've been capable of doing it he was healthy.

A lot of assists are actually selfish. Kobe makes the right passes that lead to hockey assists. Lebron makes a pass, regardless of consequence, in hopes of padding his stats.

kobe did whatever it took to win, which included 3rd, 4th and 5th assists.

contrastingly, lebron-ball puts a ceiling on his team's capability.

for example, kobe's teams were never as anemic as the lebron-ball-inspired 92 ORtg the Heat put up against the Spurs in 2014 Finals...

that would be impossible for a Kobe-led team, because he wasn't out there stat-padding and marginalizing anyone.. he was trying to win.
