When hes not busy winning 5 championships and reaching scoring milestones, he is sharing the ball. How great is our God?

Maybe if he was a point guard...but shooting guard? This is incredible:bowdown:

This stat is similar to how Jason Kidd is 3rd all time in 3 pointers made. It's not that it's something he's known for or necessarily even a strength but because Kidd is such a deadly penetrator and creator, the defense was forced to let him shoot uncontested threes and he took what he was given. Same with Kobe, he's such an insanely gifted and motivated scorer that the defense needs to send doubles and/or give extra attention to Kobe, freeing up his teammates and Kobe takes what we can get assist wise.

Nah, Kidd just turned into a spot up shooter to end his career.

You do realize that assistd is the baskets he was assisted on not the baskets he passed on for an assist?

And what about steals? IIRC, he led at least 2 title teams in steals, and one year was only like 23 blocks behind Shaq despite spraining his ankle early in a Finals game (32 blocks to Shaq's 55) and missing the next one

Kobe has always been a great passer. And one of those guys who can play PG, SG, and SF. But Kobe is SCORE FIRST (hell like MOST of today's top PG's) and he's an SG. So all in all, I gotta give Kobe props for that. Anytime a player is a great scorer and great passer in one, u gotta respect. Whether they are pass first or score first. Not many guys HISTORICALLY can make that claim.

Kobe's always been a pretty dang good passer when he WANTS to be. Except, only when he wants to be....
